Our Vintage Van is a fully restored 1967 Franklin Caravelle, a perfect secluded glamping escape for two people. Imagine relaxing on the deck with a glass of local wine, snuggling next to the fire pit or soaking in the sunken bath whilst taking in the stunning rural views. We are located a scenic 25 minute drive from the beautiful town of Mudgee on the way to the historical village of Windeyer. Our property is a 105 acre farm tucked away amongst the scenic hills of Meroo.
The Van is fully stocked with everything that you need for your stay: Linen, towels, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, serving dishes and pots and pans. The Truma gas heater will keep you cosy indoors in the colder months. There is a fan for the warmer weather, but please note the van does not have air conditioning. We would like to advise that our stay is on a farm and you may come across spiders, insects and animals.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is only Telstra towers in this area.

VAN DETAILS
The van is solar powered, and eco friendly with a composting toilet in the outdoor ensuite. Hot water is supplied by the instant gas hot water system.

Please note we do allow dogs but you do need to mindful that we have livestock on the property. Please ensure that dogs are respectful and stay away from the livestock.

We had a great getaway at Caravelle, the location is stunning with unreal views and wildlife everywhere. It's a nice drive from Mudgee, not too far. The caravan is cool with everything you would need.... We especially liked the outdoor bath! Kat and Jeff were very responsive to any questions we had. Mudgee is great, we recommend Lowe's wines and the Zin restaurant.

The van is in a magical setting, with incredible views, sheep’s and lambs for neighbour's and the outdoor bathtub is magical. The van itself is well equipped with cooking equipment and heater and blankets to stay cozy. We had a lovely weekend.

We had such a relaxing weekend staying in the Vintage 1967 Franklin Caravelle Van. Tucked away on a peaceful farm just outside Mudgee, it’s the perfect spot to completely switch off and unwind. The wh...ole place is set up beautifully for a quiet escape, with stunning rural views and total privacy — exactly what we were after.
The highlight for us was definitely soaking in the outdoor bath under the stars with a glass of wine, doesn’t get much better than that.

Our property is located in the rolling hills of Meroo, and offers the opportunity for a number of scenic drives in the area to locations such as Mudgee, Gulgong, Windeyer, Hargraves and Hill End, giving visitors the chance to visit cellar doors, olive groves, cafes and restaurants, local markets or even try their hand at fossicking.

Follow the track through eucalyptus and native pine bushland teeming with birdlife. Enjoy the fresh air and take in the superb views from the lookout. Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve is famous for it’s sandstone pagoda features.
