Our family had a great time at The Barefoot Beach House. Great place to stay with children- they loved the shelf of kids toys and games. Had everything that we needed and was really tidy. Thank you for a great time

A lovely home for the Easter long weekend. We had many blustery walks on the beach and found the place exactly as described. We would definitely recommend

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at The Barefoot Beach House.

The house is open and inviting, it is very well equipped with something for everyone. There was nothing missing from the kitchen in t...erms of crockery, utensils and even had the basics of food including flour and rice.
The lounge was big and comfortable to seat all six of us relaxing to watch a movie with the fire burning in the background.
The bedrooms are spacious and well laid out. The bunk room has a gorgeous bookshelf filled with games, books, toys and puzzles which we took full advantage of.

On our stay we walked to the forest caves during the day and watch the sunset on an evening beach walk. We saw wallabies, penguins, rabbit and a bandicoot all without having get in the car.

Phillip Island did not disappoint with the Churchill Island farmers market, The Chocolate factory and the foreshore market. Nobbies point was a highlight with plenty of wildlife, a snake, echidna, geese, penguins and the most spectacular scenery.

I would highly recommend this weekend away with perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Hi there, Im a photographer, lover of nature and yoga and am a proud mama of three girls. We bought the barefoot beach house 12 years ago and never looked back. It has been the best for creating memories for our family and it seems that we fall in love with Phillip Island more and more each time we go down there.

Surf Beach Strolls

Plenty of fresh coastal air and leisurely strolls along (what felt like) our own private beach.

Lunch At The Cape Kitchen

We had a lovely lunch at The Cape Kitchen. The restaurant was strongly recommended by our host, Bronwyn and it did not disappoint.

Surfing At Smiths Beach

Smiths Beach is normally the best surf spot for kids and beginners surfers on popular Phillip Island. This small beach has soft waves that are ideal for practising in the whitewater or catching green waves when the surf is small.

Churchill Island Farmers Market

Every 4th Saturday of the month, stalls are setup in Churchill Island selling a variety of fresh and locally grown produce. We picked up some sausages, steak, salami and of course - some sweet treats!

Whale Watching

Be sure to visit Phillip Island between May and September for the opportunity to see humpback whales, southern right whales and orcas as they migrate from Antarctica to the warmer waters off Queensland for calving. The best whale watching spots are Cape Woolamai, Surf Beach, The Nobbies and Summerlands. Don't forget your binoculars.

Pinnacles Lookout Cape Woolamai

The 30-minute walk to the lookout alone is incredible. To then arrive at these unique rock formations was breathtaking.
