From the beginning, Jamie provided plenty of info around the area, places to eat, see, and take young kids.
Even with a very wet and cold week, the house was warm, there were plenty of games and thi...ngs to keep us entertained.
You can really feel the passion they’ve put into their house, from the retro styling to the comfy beds.

We loved our stay at the Nuthouse! The perfect place to explore this side of the Peninsula, including family friendly activities like Ashcombe maze, strawberry picking, and RHS farmyard. We were even lucky enough to spot a solitary weedy seadragon under the pier 😍

We had a wonderful stay with our friends at the Nuthouse. It is like staying in a retro time capsule, quite extraordinary! Good fun, comfortable and great location, we would visit again.

Hi, we are Jamie & Annie
We are mid-century aficionados and love hosting bespoke short-stay accommodation experiences. We've offered short stay accommodation since 2015 across 3 properties and have provided 5 star quality for over 400 guest stays.
We get loads of compliments about our curation of our nutty Flinders beach pad, and we have previously managed other eclectic short stays, both our own and for other home owners.
A bit about us... We spend every spare minute op shopping, garage sale-ing and treasure hunting. Annie loves to sew and craft; Jamie loves to surf and tinker. Between us we have three green thumbs; we like eating out and we love to travel. Our idea of a great holiday is feeling at home, even when we're hundreds of miles away. We've never been lovers of clinical rooms with all white sheets & towels and boring decor. We love curating spaces to infuse them with character and colour.

Exploring The Local Area
Flinders is uniquely positioned at the western tip of Western Port Bay, so it's the heel of the Mornington Peninsula's boot. So you can experience both the wind-protected and mellow bay beaches and the wild ocean shores in the same walk.
Flinders ocean beach features the protected Mushroom Reef, which offers an underwater paradise to ocean lovers and a myriad of breaks for surfers. Inside the bay, the jetty is ideal for scuba divers and snorkellers to discover weedy seadragons, colourful sponges, giant rays and octopus. The pier is also popular with anglers and jetty jumpers.
The bay is also a great place for kayaking and stand up paddling, with some gentle, long waves rolling on the points.
There's a load of great walking options, around the village, beaches or just down the road at the beautiful bushrangers Bay. For those more adventurous, the Two Bays Trail lets you explore the peninsula's green wedge which is rich in biodiversity.

Flinders Sunset
We saw out our Saturday with a ripper sunset on the cliffs of Flinders, adding to the list of favourite places in Victoria. This is the perfect spot for a picnic if it's not too windy.
Cliffside Picnic
We climbed a big cliff with magnificent views of the ocean on top, settled ourselves in with some picnic rugs and enjoyed our home-made egg and salad sandwiches.

Georgie Bass Cafe Cookery
Feeling a bit peckish we hit the cute little town of Flinders for brunch at Georgie Bass Café & Cookery which also offers cooking classes if you're inclined
Pho Flinders
If you've been looking for truly authentic Pho this side of Vietnam, this is it! Originally a pop-up food van, these guys now have their own little shop in the main street.

Flinders Main Street
Handpick beautiful local produce for your time away at the general store, or meet a local artist in one of the galleries. Sweet tooths are sorted at the main street chocolaterie!
