About this space

Only 3.5 hours from Sydney, the perfect romantic getaway or relaxing break with friends awaits you in our tastefully appointed guest house. Set on 5 quiet, beautiful acres, Belgravia Bungalow is within a short walk or bike ride to pristine beaches. Although you share the acreage with the main homestead, your privacy is assured as you are far enough away to feel like you’re in your own piece of paradise. Unless you need us, your only visitors may be our friendly dogs.
Whilst we love children, it is suggested that our space is unsuitable for children under 8years as we have an unfenced dam on the property

The Space

The Master bedroom has a queen size bed with a roomy custom-built wardrobe, and private TV with Netflix.
Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and private TV and private access to the verandah. Hanging space is shared with the Master bedroom.
The bathroom has a larger than normal shower.
In the kitchenette you’ll find a full size fridge, convection microwave oven and electric frypan as well as a toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Although there is no oven there is a hooded BBQ on the verandah to round off everything you should need.
The living/dining room offers a smart TV, comfortable sofa and chairs as well as a 6 place dining table

Guest access

Belgravia Bungalow is at the end of the long, picturesque driveway which is shared with the homestead. Parking is outside your accommodation. As part of your “escape to the country” experience, getting around is by car only as we are situated well out of town. Should you feel like some exercise or adventure, you have use of 2 push bikes to explore the area or ride to the beach which is only 1km away.

Additional Information

Other Things To Note:
Belgravia Bungalow is for those who are looking for a slow-paced, relaxing break. Whilst soaking up the peaceful surrounds, reading, watching TV, playing board games and enjoying the beach sounds like heaven, sometimes adventure calls. Luckily there are many things to see and do within a short drive and a fantastic place to plan your visit is here:

Part of living in the country means the potential of unwanted visitors like flies, mosquitos, bugs, frogs and lizards. These actually mean we have a very clean ecosystem and with all the rain we’ve been having they are about. Keeping the doors closed will help stop these critters from coming inside but for your comfort we also provide spray, aeroguard and citronella candles. If this is a deal breaker, then this is probably not the experience for you.

A stay that felt like home from the very first message. From the moment I reached out to our lovely host, Terri, I felt completely at ease about our booking. When we arrived, my mum, Luna, and James s...ettled in instantly — the kind of comfort you can’t fake.We were welcomed with freshly baked bread, home‑grown honey, and eggs straight from the property, and that set the tone for the entire stay. Terri and her husband have poured so much heart into the fine details: a fully stocked fridge and pantry, thoughtful utensils, a “just‑in‑case” basket, and everything you could possibly need for a stress‑free getaway. And we can’t forget the beautiful pets on the property — Toby and Vaida. Toby was the sweetest ball‑fetching companion, always ready for another throw, while Vaida joined in with her gentle, calm nature and happily soaked up every belly rub. They made the stay even more special for the kids and for us. The bungalow itself is peaceful, beautifully kept, and surrounded by nature. The fire pit was already set up with cut firewood waiting for us, making our evenings cosy and memorable. Our three‑night stay was perfect. Warm hosts, gorgeous surroundings, thoughtful touches everywhere, and friendly pets who made us feel part of the place. We’ll absolutely be back.

We enjoyed our lovely, peaceful country coastal getaway. We had a mix of beach days, walks and exploring nearby towns. The bungalow was clean, tidy and well equipped with lovely decor. The brekky supp...lies were an added treat, as were the company of the dogs. Terri and Adrian were very welcoming and helpful hosts.

Miles and miles of coastline just for us - there wasn't a soul on the beach with us that day.

Manning Point Beach

We had perfect weather for a day at the beach. Set up with some food, and a book and unwind to the sounds of the ocean. Manning Point Beach is also perfect for those who enjoy 4WDing.

Surfing

The 43km stretch of coast from Forster down to Seal Rocks contains some of the most scenic and quiet surfing spots in New South Wales. Head to One Mile, which is Forster’s town beach or Old Bar, or explore further along the coast for more surf spots.

Flow Bar. An iconic coastal venue serving great food and great music. We spent a relaxed Sunday afternoon listening to some live acoustic tunes accompanied by pizza, seafood, and beer.

Headland Walk In Saltwater National Park

Walk through the dense forest to enjoy the panoramic ocean views. If you happen to be here between May - November you're likely to spot a few migrating whales.

For us it was a great spot to stretch our legs and find a few sea shells.
