I had a dream to find the perfect property, relocate from Sydney and make a life where I landed. Now you’ll find me on a tractor, tending to my garden and walking the trails here in the Deep South!

The Pinnacles Loop Walking Track
An easy walk with two lookout points from which you can view the Pinnacles erosion feature. There is also beach access which allows you access the often deserted Quondolo Beach. It's a short 800m loop track that is maintained by the NSW National Parks.
The Pinnacles Loop Walking Track
A short, easy walk with beautiful views of the Pinnacles and ocean from several different lookout points along the way.
Nethercote Falls
A short and steep hike down (and then back up) will lead you to this hidden gem – a tiny waterfall that flows all year round. We were lucky to have it to ourselves and we enjoyed spending time in the secluded scenery. There are many pools above the falls that would be perfect for a cooling dip come summer.
Longstocking Brewery
After a day of adventures, I highly recommend stopping in for a locally crafted beer or cider, alongside some of the best wood=fired pizzas I've ever tried (try the garlic and margherita). This brewery is located in the popular Oaklands area and the venue is super cool, with greenery hanging from the ceilings inside. Most importantly, the food is to die for!
Wild Ryes Baking Co
One of the best bakeries I have ever bought from, this little local gem was a highlight. It was so good for easy food we went back several times.
The coffee was great, and the bread was delicious. We also bought some rolls and pies there for lunches and some treats to have with tea.
It was only a short walk from the cottage so we could bring back the takeaway and enjoy it in the garden.
