The Space
Cute and cozy one-bedroom tiny house with amazing views
of Blue Mountains. Outdoor fire and outdoor bath also looking out over the stunning views indoor shower also available for those that do not want to bathe in the spectacular scenery .
Indoors you will be warm and cozy with combustion wood fire & reverse cycle aircon for either heating or cooling
Large flatscreen smart tv has Foxtel and Free to air channels in lounge room . We do not provide Wifi but you can use the hot spot on your phone or wireless dongle if you have one to access Netlfix and other apps you have subscriptions to on the TV .
Small dining table or work space in lounge room.
Kitchen has brand new chef gas oven and cooktop, medium size fridge freezer along with microwave toaster and kettle.
Walk in shower and indoor Eco toilet in the bathroom has inbuilt fan so no smells and is emptied after each guest stay .
Queen size bed has feather doona dual control electric blanket and cotton sheets.
Undercover parking in Large carport at rear of the cottage .
2 mountain bikes also available to explore the countryside but please advise you if you wish to use them at time of bookin
Beautiful wildlife and scenery to be enjoyed on walks around the the 200 acre property and neighbouring pine forest
Japanese bathouse at lake lyell nearby ( book in advance !)
Zig Zag Heritage Railway 30 minutes away

located 20 minutes from Lithgow Town shops and cafes
5 minutes from lake lyell - fishing swimming and boating.
Great walks in neighbouring 500 acre private pineforest .
35 to 40 mintutes to katoomba and blue mountains tourist attractions
Rydal country pub 9 km away
Fast Fox and Blue fox in Lithgow highly recommended for lunch or dinner
Jenolan caves 35 minute drive or 1 hour via Oberon
( currently only via oberon a longer drive due to storm damage on road )
There is a main farmhouse on the 200 acre property but wattle views has its own undercover parking and access via rear driveway plus
dense hedging and and tall fencing give wattle views complete privacy .
Large secure fenced yard around tiny house is ideal for your pet
( one small or medium well behaved / quiet dog permitted .

We do also offer a meet feed and greet experience with the farm animals . We can also take photos of you with them on your own phone and answer any questions you have about them .
Cost is additional $50 .
Please advise us if you would like this experience prior arrival so we can arrange a time . Mornings are best for feeding .

TV with foxtel and free to air channels - phone reception for telstra is good and optus also ok .
We dont provide wifi but you can use hotspot on your phone to watch on the TV - Netflix or other apps if you have accounts for them .

Bathroom has eco toilet and shower plus handbasin .
the composting eco toilet has inbuilt fan to remove any smells and is emptied between each guest .
Kithchenette has electric oven , toaster , kettle and microwave pluse vIntage early kooka gas cooktop and gas oven.
Maximum one small to medium well behaved quiet dog permitted
We do have main farmhouse on the property Kookawood as well as wattle views tiny house so we do ask you stay away from there to ensure pr everyones privacy .
We like to maintain a peaceful environment so no loud music, barking dogs or noisy cars please !

Wattle views is stunning and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, loved the fire pit and outdoor bath - was suprised to use it in winter but it was lovely and warm with amazing views!

This little cottage is beautiful. It’s quiet and peaceful. It is very well equipped with everything you could need. Especially the kitchen. We loved our time at Wattle views cottage. Host Fiona is ver...y welcoming and helpful. We took are pups with us and they were super relaxed as well and made new friends with the tiny horses. Highly recommend a stay

Lake Lyell Recreational Park

Enjoy swimming, a picnic, fishing, canoeing or simply taking it all in while enjoying a book. Lake Lyell is a gorgeous spot to enjoy your day at.

Lake Lyell

While driving around, we came across Lake Lyell and its dam wall overlooking the valley. Lake Lyell is the spot for lots of activities - there's space to picnic, a campground, kids play equipment, a small cafe and a boat ramp. Parking isn't free so take a few coins.

Picnic By The Lake

Spend the afternoon down by the picturesque Lake Lyell. Super quiet and secluded with free visiting during the day, perfect for a later arvo picnic!

On the way to Jenolan Caves from Bilpin, you might come across some wild wallabies at a rest area! The exact location was -33.793781, 150.028758.

Secret Sunrise Spot

Wow, this spot was amazing! We drove through the pine plantation and it did not disappoint! It was still so beautiful seeing the hills and sky softly coloured by the sunset! The sun went down directly behind us, so we think it would be even better for sunrise.

Marrangaroo National Park

Enjoy swimming or relaxing while platypus spotting on the riverbank. Explore Lake Lyell by canoe, or, after rain, run the rapids down the Cox's River.
