Riverside Bliss in the gorgeous town of Jamieson was the perfect place to relax. With the most amazing river frontage we spent some lazy hot summer days hanging out on the shady river banks, dipping i...n and out of the river to cool off…total bliss! Floating down the river in our inflatables over and over was the best fun. The house was so comfy with beautiful garden views from every room.
Heaps of options to explore nearby but for us there was no need to go far with such a great house and that beautiful river at the end of our garden.

Hi I’m Samantha,
I look forward to hosting you at my second home and labour of love The Cabin at Kevington. I manage a number of beautiful properties in the local area, most of which have direct river or lake access ( dependant on water levels) . All are located very close to Lake Eildon and are within an hours drive from the gates at Mt Buller.

Pool At The Courthouse Hotel
Rustic country pub filled with Ned Kelly memorabilia and a pool table.
Fishing In The Jamieson River
We fished by the river most afternoons. The water is clear and the river is surrounded by wattle trees, so it was something we really enjoyed.
Jamieson General Store
Jamieson is known for its amazing brewery, yes it is! But, we discovered one of the coolest general stores in Australia. The vintage vibes, amazing coffee and cute king parrots made our afternoon worth it. This place is a must-visit in the Eildon Lake region, 100% recommended!!!
Coffee And Heritage Walk
With a coffee and hot chocolate in hand from The Cafe, we took a self-guided tour through the town of Jamieson. Many of the old buildings have a fascinating story to go with them, making it a lovely way to find out more about the town.
Coffee At The Cafe Jamieson
A slow Sunday morning coffee at the local cafe in Jamieson and a wander through the town to stretch our legs before the drive home.
Kayak Journeys
Hire a kayak from the Jamieson caravan park and make your way down the river. You can stop off for lunch at the brewery or spend all arvo making your way down to Lake Eildon where you can be picked up by the friendly folk at the park.
