We had the most amazing stay at Jamieson River House. The home is beautiful and its perfectly positioned, with access to the river directly across the road when exiting the back garden gate. We spen...t an amazing few days just soaking up the serenity of the river and enjoying backyard cricket with the kids. Perfect place to escape to in order to disconnect from the stressors of everyday life and reconnect with the people you care about. Our only regret is that we didnt stay longer!

Absolutely loved our stay at Jamieson River house. The house is wonderful. Spacious, but cosy. Really well appointed with everything we needed. The garden is lovely and huge! And the situation! What a... spot, right on the river. Walks at any time of day were a delight.
The area is just gorgeous. So, so pretty.
Highly recommend and would love to come again.

Great getaway, plenty of space, the fireplace is great and the river is just out the back gate. Definitely recommend if you are looking to get away and disconnect

Fishing In The Jamieson River

We fished by the river most afternoons. The water is clear and the river is surrounded by wattle trees, so it was something we really enjoyed.

With a coffee and hot chocolate in hand from The Cafe, we took a self-guided tour through the town of Jamieson. Many of the old buildings have a fascinating story to go with them, making it a lovely way to find out more about the town.

Jamieson General Store

Jamieson is known for its amazing brewery, yes it is! But, we discovered one of the coolest general stores in Australia. The vintage vibes, amazing coffee and cute king parrots made our afternoon worth it. This place is a must-visit in the Eildon Lake region, 100% recommended!!!
