Additional Information
Bawley Ridge Farm Cottage is a perfect hobby farm stay for couples (and their dogs if they want to bring them!). It offers complete privacy and is set in a large, fully-fenced garden next to a pond and surrounded by trees and birdsong. Animals on the farm include alpacas, chickens, peacocks, geese, ducks and an array of native birds (so please keep dogs on the lead outside the cottage garden.) There are 9 beaches at Bawley Point to choose from, including several dog beaches, as well as cafes and shops (including a pharmacy, IGA and bottle shop) plus we have the handy shop and bottle-o at the highway servo turn off (just 4 mins from the cottage). Local landmarks include Willinga Park equestrian centre, Pidgeon House and Durras Mountain walking trails, rainforest walks at Depot Beach, Cupitts Winery (in Ulladulla) and our local Bawley Vale Estate vineyard. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing your dog.

Beautiful relaxing cabin - nice and quiet with lots of privacy. The view of the stars at night with the fire was amazing and definitely our favourite part - bed was comfortable and cabin was clean. Hosts were super friendly and easy going

We ended up staying in the farmhouse on the same property due to a double booking error on the system. The property was really cute and the animals were pretty safe for our little chihuahua as they ke...pt to themselves mostly. It was a short drive to the local beaches and walks, and not far to Batemans Bay either. We loved the visiting peacocks on the property too! The hosts also had some fresh bread, eggs and wine waiting for us upon arrival which was really lovely!
One thing we didn’t realize is that the hosts live in one side of the farmhouse whereas we stayed in the other side. Not an issue really but would have been good to know in advance. The pillows in the bedroom were pretty thin so maybe some more comfy ones would be good? Some of the cushions in the lounge had a faint smell of dog urine which maybe should be expected for a dog friendly property, but it made the place feel a little less clean than we hoped for the cost that we paid to stay.

Great stay & very welcoming hosts, the fire was already lit & a welcome basket of eggs, milk & a freshly baked loaf of bread on the table. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm this winter, went to saltwood cafe in Kioloa & surrounds, visited Milton, Mollymook, Ulladulla & Burrill Lake.

Bawley Ridge is a little slice of heaven. We have a citrus fruit orchard - limes, oranges, grapefruit, lemons - which you are welcome to gather from (June to September is harvest time). Our goats are very happy for you to feed them goat nuts. Our alpacas roam the property as do the geese and peacocks, and we're pleased to give you some of our chickens' eggs as part of the welcome basket. Australian wood duck are regular visitors to our ponds and there are various species of parrot, cockatoo, wren, spinebill, bower birds and (if you're lucky) a lyrebird to see! The views out to sea from the deck, particularly at dawn and sunset, are very beautiful. We gather all our wood for the wood burning stove from the property, and make sure you have plenty stocked up to keep you warm and cosy. We are dedicated to making your stay at Bawley Ridge delightful.
