HOUSE DETAILS
- The upstairs bedroom in the main pod has a high queen bed. **PLEASE NOTE : This bedroom is accessed by a steep, tall ladder. If you have issues with heights or descents please discuss with our property managers. The bed is also high to enjoy the stars. There is a step however you will require good basic mobility.
- The downstairs bedroom in the 2nd pod has a king bed. All bedding, linen & towels are supplied
- The 2nd pod has a small ensuite with toilet & basin
- There is a small mattress nook with wire railing
- A single couple staying can CHOOSE EITHER BEDROOM. If both bedrooms are used, guests will be required to pay for extra guests.
- Wood is supplied between April and September - please provide your own kindling & firelighters
- The kitchenette is well equipped with oven/stove, dishwasher & utensils etc
- Basic tea & coffee supplies are provided. Basic cleaning product is provided
- Washing machine facilities are located outside in the roller access.
KEY COLLECTION
- Please go directly to the property. This property has a keysafe at the entry steps.
- You will be issued with the code via text message just prior to 2pm arrival.
- Full payment must be received or arranged prior to your arrival. The keys may be left at your accommodation upon departure.
DIRECTIONS
- Black Mamba House street address is 37 Dredgehole Lane, Harrietville.
- Black Mamba House is located at the end of Dredgehole Lane on your left as you drive up.
- Drive through Harrietville along the Great Alpine Road until you see the Harrietville Hotel/Motel, turn left just past the hotel into Feathertop Track. Follow the road around the bend and continue on, you will see Dredgehole Lane on your right. Turn right into DREDGEHOLE LANE, and continue along until the last house on your left.
PLEASE NOTE
- Late check-out may be possible with prior arrangement only.
- If it is necessary for cleaners to wait for your departure a charge will be incurred of $25 per hour.
-We may be able to offer late check-out of 12pm or earlier check-in of 12pm providing the situation permits with surrounding bookings. Please contact us THE DAY PRIOR and we should have a good idea if this will be possible.
- Extra guests are welcome to a maximum of 4 guests. Please advise of final numbers at least 7 days prior to arrival. Extra guests will be charged at $40 per adult/per night & $30 per child/per night.
- STRICTLY no parties or functions are to be held on the premises without the permission of owners or management. Immediate eviction will apply in the event of such occasions.
- Items such as toilet paper, coffee, tea & sugar etc. are supplied for your arrival, as a starter. You will need to stock up for the duration of your stay. Basic cleaning products are supplied. Basic hotel toiletries are supplied.
- The fire will be set for your arrival from April - September. Plenty of firewood will be supplied for your stay however we recommend that you purchase a bag of kindling & firelighters from any supermarket for the duration of your stay.
- This property DOES NOT have WIFI provided. We recommend purchasing a Telstra pre-paid device from any supermarket for around $35 for your use while at the property. Alternatively - Bright Brewery, Riverdeck Cafe, Blackbird Cafe, Dumu Cafe & Food Wine Friends all offer free WIFI for customers.
- AVG and the property owners take no responsibility for incidents which may occur while using the bedroom access ladder. It is up to the guest to determine that they are confident with the situation and aware of the risks. AVG takes no responsibility for incidents occurring involving alcohol or guests lack of mobility or preparation. Please always take great care when climbing & descending the ladder, especially at night.
- We expect that the property will be left in a neat & tidy state on departure.
- Housekeepers will come in to clean thoroughly and strip beds however we anticipate that dishes will be washed properly & put away, rooms left tidy and BBQ cleaned.
- Please clean the BBQ thoroughly after use to avoid attracting critters. If the BBQ is not cleaned after use a $50 fee will be automatically charged.
- Please ensure that all hand-washed dishes, cutlery, pots & pans are clean when put away.
- We appreciate your understanding of our rules & regulations for the comfort of future guests, and the longevity of the property which is someone's home....
