We had a beautiful stay at Emma’s place. It’s in a very convenient place and close to everything and had everything we needed at the house. Communication with Emma was great and the house was lovely and very clean! Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place, so cute and cosy perfect for a weekend getaway with my girlfriends. Loved the fire place as it kept the house so nice and warm in winter. The scenery is just stunning to wake up to w...ith so much wildlife roaming around. There was so much to do in the alpine region, with wineries, waterfalls, cheese factory and the pumpkin seeds. My favourite is the red stagg and emu farm, a great place for families and even a group of mums on a little weekend getaway.

Fly Fishing
The main rivers of Ovens, Buffalo and Buckland support good self-sustaining populations of blackfish and brown trout. Access to almost all rivers is excellent with good fly- fishing possible without extensive walking. Bait fishing and spinning for trout is also a popular pastime for visitor and locals alike. Bait, fishing gear and fishing licenses can be purchased in Bright.
Snow Sports
Mount Hotham has to offer 320 hectares of ski terrain for beginners, intermediate and advanced abilities, 13 lifts, three terrain parks, 35km of cross country skiing, tobogganing dog sled tours and snow mobile rides.
Mountain Bike Riding
The MTB trail network at Bright offers a unique mix of riding opportunity for beginner through to expert. The trails are mostly hand-built and have been developed and improved over many years. The area encompasses everything from flat fire-road to incredibly steep and technical climbs and descents, from novice to expert, you will find a track to challenge you.
Canyon Walk
Starting from Howitt Park head towards the Star Road Bridge. The track on the northern bank of the Ovens River has steep steps. Cross either of the suspension bridges to create a short or long loop. This walk takes you past a small canyon carved by the Ovens River and water races dug by early miners. Watch for birdlife and wild flowers especially in spring.
Rivers
The beautiful Ovens, Buffalo and Buckland Rivers flow in wide valleys of cleared farmland surrounded by mountains. High annual rainfall and granite rocks in the mountains result in fast flowing, clear water rivers and tributaries. Drift along in a lilo, paddle a kayak or just cool off in summer in one of the many beautiful swimming holes
Eurobin Falls
Relax with a picnic taking in the sights and sounds of the mesmerizing. In the warmer months, you can have a refreshing dip at Ladies Bath, just 400m from the car park.
