Welcome to Wild and Seek's Cabin nestled in the Yengo national park. An experience you, your family and friends will never forget.

Situated on 40 acres in St.Albans valley, you are surrounded by cliff tops, rivers and the Yengo National Park. Only 2 hours from Sydney near the Hawkesbury River.

This is a special place designed to enjoy outdoor living in nature. Whether it is cooking up a feast under our Pavillion or adding on the Sauna experience, you will be sure to disconnect.

** The Cabin is set in its own private and secluded area, separate from The Tiny House. The nearby Cottage, located next to The Cabin, will remain unoccupied during your stay.
The only shared space on the property is the sauna paddock, which can be booked privately through our website.**

The Pavilion is a beautifully designed outdoor kitchen for hosting and sharing stories amongst your loved ones. You have the option to cook on either a gas BBQ or on our “Deuce” from Pig n Pilgrim for food lovers that are inspired to cook with fire from wood embers.

The fire pit and mezzanine along with many other comfy seating options scattered around the property, you will be sure to relax, indulge and get wild!

The Sauna:
Our custom wood fired sauna is nestled in the heart of nature. Offering an unparalleled blend of relaxation and adventure, we invite you to unwind, rejuvenate and flow between the sauna and outdoor twin baths. Please note that an additional $200 fee will apply for guests wanting to experience our sauna package.

Location:
St.Albans is a stunning village set on the Upper Macdonald river and is only 20 minutes away. Right in the heart of it is one of the oldest pubs in Australia called Settlers Arms. It is draped in history dating back to the 1800’s when convicts were building nearby roads. Weekends have live music in the Oak tree garden and you’ll find people visiting from all over NSW.

Many hikes and walks such as “Jacks Track” are available if you want to burn off some energy and see the valley from the mountain peaks. Situated in the middle of a national park you can take a hike quite literally whenever you wish on the property.

The cabin itself was lovely and comfortable & the indoor log fire worked a treat.
What was disappointing was the outlook onto the neighbouring cottage. It does not feel sufficiently private. We also ...had enormous trouble lighting the wood-fired bath & eventually gave up.
The surrounding area is beautiful, however. Lots of roos and birdlife. We were also fortunate to see a koala just a short walk away from the cabin.

We stayed for 2 nights with my sisters and this place was amazing with beautiful views!The sauna was so good with breathtaking views like a paradise!And only few foods enough to get enough hot!BBQ are...a was so clean with high quality furniture!We really enjoyed our weekends stay Wild and Seek cabin!We definitely come back and highly recommended!Thank you for hosting us🥰

Exploring St Albans Historic Village

This tiny historical village is worth a visit. The locals call it "Slice of Paradise". No wonder for a hundred years travellers would rest on the main road from Sydney to the Hunter Valley. We visited the St Albans Inn for an afternoon drink where locals gathered as a hub of the village. The drive here was very scenic with a strong countryside and farming atmosphere, make sure to check out Mogo Creek which is a further 10-minute drive from the Inn and get ready to be astonished by the scenic view of the lake.

Lunch At The Local Pub

St Albans is a small and historic village on the Macdonald River with one very cool history pub. We sat in the sun listening to the birds while we sipped on our schooners and ate a delicious pork roast.

Lunch At Settlers Arm Inn

We were quite hungry and we discovered this unique inn that was established in 1836. Best feed in town for sure!

Hike At Shepherds Gully

The long, gentle climb along Shepherd’s Gully has some beautiful scenery and some historic remnants of the Old Great North Road. The optional side trip to Hangmans Rock takes you past an old convict stockade site and some of the construction remnants on the main Devines Hill ascent.
