This waterfront sanctuary on the lower Hawkesbury waterway, is tailored for a chic short stay experience. Remote yet connected to all life’s luxuries, Marramarra House is a revitalised turn of the century historic cottage that offers everything imaginable for an off-grid hideaway.
Views are simply spectacular & the aspect from Marra is to the east capturing the morning light. On a full moon, there is no better place to be - glass of wine in hand, with dress circle seating and the moon rise on centre stage. This is charming river retreat, offering a great space to unwind.
The MarraMarra river settlement is tucked away in a quiet bay just off the main river system. The area is off the grid with tidal boat only access, so a very tranquil & secluded spot
Relax and swim at the water’s edge from “all day” sundeck complete with our outdoor rainwater shower at the end of a high tide swim
MarraMarra House collects its own rainwater and is powered by solar power with gas hot water & cook top. But with WiFi, mobile & tv reception & blue tooth, so you have all the modern comforts of the main power grid system!!

The super comfortable king bed with premium linen is positioned to take in the beautiful water views. The bedroom is a separate fully carpeted wing, with glass bi-folds opening to front deck and fully screened windows opening to the rear.
Please note that the bathroom is in the main wing of the house, so access from bedroom is via the undercover breezeway.
WHAT TO DO
• simply relax & hang in the hammock
• swim from the pontoon on a high tide
• take a boat trip to Spencer for burgers & a beer
• explore the nearby river beaches with easy to drive hire boat

• in tune with the moon phases, on a few days each month, for a few hours, access is limited by the xtra low tides of the new & full moon
