We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home over Easter. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stunning the property is. The massive windows let in so much natural light and... offered gorgeous views all around, making every space feel open, calm, and welcoming.
The house itself is thoughtfully designed and incredibly spacious — perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had plenty of room to relax, play, and enjoy themselves without ever feeling crowded. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor space, and the lawn was just perfect — lush, well-kept, and ideal for running around and playing games.
Everything about the home felt high-quality and well cared for, which made the stay even more comfortable and special. It truly felt like a little getaway paradise where we could unwind and spend quality time together.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Easter. This home exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. We will definitely be returning — highly, highly recommend!

This is the perfect house for a getaway with friends. We were four couples and with 4 ensuite bedrooms and the vast kitchen and living areas there was plenty of space for time apart and time together.... Spectacular views from the living area especially at this time of year - so green, misty hills, cows, horses - soothing and relaxing. One of the best kitchens to cook in - so well equipped and set out. Plenty of space for more than one cook! The passivehaus system was amazing. Never been in a house in Australia winter where the temperature was so comfortable without the use of reverse cycle or gas or hydronic heating. We will definitely return for another stay! And thank you to Lisa for help (especially when we got bogged at one of the nearby hiking trails!). Thank you for your thoughtful provisioning and ensuring the comfort of the group.

Private Walking Trails Along The King Parrot Creek
Wander our 4 kms of walking trails, hugging the banks of King Parrot Creek, this scenic walk allows you to enjoy the tranquil surrounds, sighting native animals and an abundance of vocal birdlife. Access to the walking trails is past the yard gate, approximately 120 metres West of the house.
Private Trout Fishing
Access to the King Parrot Creek gives you an always quiet piece of paradise. Housing both brown and rainbow trout.
King Parrot Creek Stroll
The King Parrot Creek also has a lovely walking trail alongside it. Great for a sunset stroll, some nice spots to be found along the river.
Fishing In King Parrot Creek
The property has direct access to King Parrot creek which runs right behind the house. Definetly worth a fish, saw quite a few but only managed to catch one nice red fin. Out the gate, turn right and walk about 100 metres for a decent spot.

Strath Creek Falls
This waterfall is located in Mount Disappointment State Forest. Follow the walk, which leads you to a beautiful view of the falls cascading 50 metres to the gully below. The perfect time to visit is after heavy rains.
