The Cottage is a 100-year-old weatherboard cottage, transported from Point Chevalier in Auckland. It rests on top of a hill overlooking grassy spaces, olive trees and the changing waters of Orongo Bay.

It is located just a 5 minute drive from Russell/Kororareka where you’ll find world class restaurants, bars and cafes lining the waterfront along with interesting and historic local attractions and the Russell wharf where you can embark on various water based activities.

The Cottage has everything you need for a home away from home with a full kitchen, large bathroom, indoor and outdoor dining areas, 2 spacious bedrooms and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

My husband and I have 3 young children and are lucky enough to call the Bay of Islands our home. I firmly believe when travelling that you truly get to know and appreciate a place so much more when you can stay and experience life like a local.
