The Boat House is a wooden cabin situated at the bottom of Cambewarra Estate Winery with a stunning view looking back up the through the vineyard and surrounded by wildlife and peace and quiet. If you like Glamping, you'll love it here!

It has a comfortable double bed facing out over the water, with reverse cycle aircon.
The Boat House features a stunning heated outdoor bath & handheld shower that overlooks the jetty and dam. The Boathouse also has a mini fridge, running town water and power.
* Please note the toilet is a 3min walk / 30 second drive from the Boathouse to the bathrooms which is available at all hours for you. There are separate male and female bathrooms as well as a family / accessible bathroom.

The Boat House is situated in the heart of Cambewarra Estate Winery, in Bangalee. Cambewarra is a gorgeous little pocket of the world with lots of lovely walks and bike trails to explore. The Boat House is a 15 min drive to Berry, 5- 10 min drive to Nowra township for shopping.

Dinner options: Please note Cambewarra Estate is not open for dinner though we have a few good recommendations:
Local Pub down the road (North Nowra tavern), Mumma's Italian Bomaderry - they deliver), Farmgate Restaurant in Nowra and also UBER eats deliver straight to the cellar door car park :)

We had the most wonderful stay at Cambewarra Estate Boathouse! From the moment we arrived, Amanda's warm welcome and genuine kindness made us feel completely at home. She is such a lovely host.

The B...oathouse is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning lake views. We loved feeding the ducks, kayaking on the lake, taking relaxing walks around the property, and enjoying the great local wine. The highlight was soaking in the hot bathtub while taking in the breathtaking view—it was the perfect way to unwind.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved how tranquil and wholesome it was. From feeding the ducks, to a paddle on the lake, to a bath under the stars. Plenty of time to chat, read, enjoy fine wine, and decompress. Gorgeous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the boat house! The ducks were super friendly and the view out the deck on the water was fantastic. The undercover outdoor shower and bath was lovely while it was rai...ning outside too. The bed was warm and cozy, and the AC worked well to keep us toasty all night. Thanks Amanda and the Cambewarra estate for their hospitality!

Rock Climbing In Nowra

As rock climbers we spend most weekends tied in to one end of the rope on the sharp end of a climbing route.
Nowra has some of the best sport climbing in the country and most of these climbing areas are only a stones throw from where you park.
If you haven't already, you should try climbing, it's great fun and is a great lifestyle sport.

Grotto Lookout

Cambewarra Lookout

A popular spot on top of Cambewarra Mountain, on the way to Nowra. The lookout provides magnificent views of the South Coast. There is a restaurant located on top for you to enjoy the view and some lunch.

Horse Riding

Explore the region on horseback. This ride offers you the opportunity to learn about the local history of Kangaroo Valley while taking in the beautiful scenery. Ride through fire trails and old logging trails in a small group of six or less.

Wine Tasting In Berry

As you head back from your weekend in Jervis Bay, stop by Berry for a wine tasting with an incredible view. Two Figs Winery had some great wines.

The Village

We started our morning by cruising through the village, which offered a few boutique shops, cafes and a rad bakery. First off, The General Cafe had an amazing brunch and great coffee – would highly recommend this place. Secondly, the bakery also had the most delicious pies. On our last day, we treated ourselves at the Friendly Inn for a couple of schooners and lunch. This place had a lot of character, both inside and out, not to mention a nice outdoor beer garden.
