A wonderful escape in Victoria's beautiful high country. Upon a Star was a well appointed cottage located in beautiful surrounds on a private property a few minutes outside of Bright main town. Plenty... of room for us and our dog to enjoy, lots of luxurious amenities and lovely treats to savour as well. We were really well looked after. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely outstanding - loved the location, the main house, and the gazebo to chill with a wine and some cheese. Everything is perfect down to the smallest details. Having our dog there was also spe...cial, and he loved meeting the resident pups, chasing balls in the creek, and coming home to his own little bed. Thank you!

Afternoon Drinks At Five Acres

We'd heard that Five Acres was a beautiful spot for lunch or a drink, so on our bike ride, we stopped here for a few local ciders in the lush green gardens. It was the perfect way to spend the arvo.

Wandi Pub

Cute little rustic pub. Good spot for a game of pool, beer and mixing with the locals which also has live music on the weekends.

Indulging In Bright

We went home to Melbourne via Bright, eating and drinking our way through the town. We had an awesome lunch at the super cool Tomohawk, followed by a gin tasting flight at Reed & Co Distillery. Stumbling across the sprawling sunflower fields in Ovens was the perfect end to the trip.
