This newly built cabin sits privately in the canopy of the Opua bush. With a tranquil and intimate feel, it is a modern one bedroom with ensuite bathroom and small kitchenette, perfect for those looking for a peaceful, private spot to unwind in. Kitchenette provides mini fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery etc.

Guest access
There is parking onsite for one vehicle and private access to your cabin. There is not quite enough space for large camper vans. Please check with us before booking.

This is one of two cabins onsite, as well as the two cabins, there is a main house with long term tenants.

Our Bush Track

Take a stroll along our bush track, which leads you out onto the Opua cycle way. Take a left onto the track and head for the Opua marina where you can enjoy coffee, a meal or a lovely walk around. The track starts just past our parking area.

Omata Estate Winery

Omata Estate is a boutique vineyard on a sunny peninsular eight kilometres out of Russell, in the Bay of Islands. Their vines grow on north-facing slopes overlooking the ocean, making for epic views.

A little piece of history - New Zealand's oldest existing church and cemetery. Reading some of the headstones, they tell stories that will engage and give you a real insight into early settler life. It also has visible bullet holes from fighting in the 1840s.
