Excellent house equipped with everything you need including a great fire place and in a great location to go for walks, Fish Creek, Waratah Bay and the kiosk. Two families had a wonderful time at Shearwater. Fleur was very responsive and friendly.

My husband Mike and I have always shared a sideways way of looking at things. We have always gravitated towards one-a-kind things and places. This and our love of travel led to us buying an intriguing cabin back in 2005, which become Liptrap Loft.,winning awards and hearts alike.
From there, we began managing nearby properties, which evolved into our full-time business: Dufflebird - Unique Getaways for The Curious. We now offer a curated selection of delightful properties for effortless holiday rentals.
Our collection includes six distinctive properties within a 2.25-hour drive of Melbourne. Three are our own, and three are carefully chosen for their exceptional qualities. Each property is a destination in itself, offering a tailored and enriching experience. Our guests appreciate not just a place to stay, but also artistic touches and a seamless process, which helps us attract visitors who treat our properties with care.

Walkerville Beach
Extremely secluded, Walkerville South is only accessible by lonely gravel roads and the lack of people ensures that facilities are at a bare minimum.
Walkerville North provides beautiful views across Waratah Bay to nearby Wilsons Promontory, and at low tide provides access to spectacular rock pools.
The gravel road that leads to Walkerville South ends with a similar boat ramp to that of its northern sister settlement, and a sheltered bay frequented in the summer by families swimming and fishing in the quiet pristine waters.

Surfing
Walkerville has a semi-exposed beach break with inconsistent surf. Northwest winds provide optimum conditions. Mixed ground and wind swells with best conditions generated from the southeast. Beware of rips conditions can be hazardous.
Walkerville Coastal Trails
Approximately 100 metres beyond the end of the boat ramp marks the beginning of a walking trail up the cliff that separates the two Walkerville settlements. This trail leads you through spectacular forests and little creeks stained brown by the tea tree (melaleuca) plants.
Learning To Surf
Waratah Bay has small but consistent surf, with no rocks. It is an ideal spot to teach kids or adult kids to surf. There are no rips, so it is quite safe. Sandy Point is a bit further with larger waves and sometimes rips.
Wilsons Promontory National Park
Travel to Victoria's much-loved Wilsons Promontory to explore secluded pristine beaches and coastal forests set alongside the backdrop of the National Park's granite mountains. Head off on one of the many walks and look out for native birds as well as kangaroos, emus, wombats and echidnas.
A range of hiking opportunities are available at the prom, from taking in pristine beaches, temperate rainforest, towering sand dunes or lookouts offering spectacular panoramic views.
