Tucked away in the hills over Opaheke you will find a hidden cabin overlooking sprawling native bush. Watch the kererus swoop and listen to the tuis sing. Lose track of time as you wander through the 5 acres of private native bush which backs onto this cabin.
Catch majestic sunsets as you cook over open fire in the grill cabin, with views of Awhitu peninsula and the Manukau Harbour. In the foreground watch sheep and cows graze - listen out for the donkeys call from a distant. As the night turns chilly you can stay cozy with the glass door fire inside and plenty of firewood to keep the cold at bay.
In the cabin construction you will find material recycled and repurposed with woods such as Douglas fir, Redwood, Rimu, Totara and Macrocarpa all making an appearance.
Access will be through foot and parking will be located in a private place. This is a working farm with our animals around the hilly paddocks that you will meet as you walk through the farm approximately 200m to the cabin. An off grid experience with water tanks and a generator to run the electricity when required.
