Focused around indoor/outdoor living, it seamlessly connects the kitchen, living and dining areas with a multipurpose outdoor dining and pool area to one side and an outdoor alfresco lounge and Tuscan Inspired kitchen space to the other.

The bedrooms however have been strategically placed away from these social spaces, for those who like to sleep in or retire early.

The bedrooms are generously sized with modern interior style and luxurious bedding bed that oozes class and comfort. The bright and natural colours are used throughout, complimented with the architect’s design around the wood, stone, and leather pieces.

The floor-to-ceiling windows gives each space its own view of the mesmerising vineyard and mountainside backdrop.

The Residence’s spacious master suite features a King bed, luxury linens, private sitting area, ample wardrobe storage and private bathroom.

The bathroom is just as luxe as the bedroom, with a complete glass sliding wall, allowing you to sit back in the free-standing bathtub and capture the views of the hanging vines that frame the stunning views of Mt Buffalo.

The large ensuite also provides an oversized twin shower, vanity, toilet, as well as premium Hunter Lab Bathroom amenities, locally made Gather & Harvest Soap and GHD straightener.

The open country air allows you to sit outside, glass in hand and enjoy the incredible sunset, as the sun sets in the background throwing epic pink colours the dark night sky will fall and quickly start to fill with sparkling stars, a moment enjoyed with your nearest and dearest, we warn you it will be hard to take yourself away from star gazing all night.

Why not set up a picnic on the downstairs lawn, one of the many viewing points, pop open a bottle of our famous wine, grab some snacks and watch the sunset, a space also perfect for yoga amongst the vines.

In Summer, the home takes on a resort-like feel with expansive outdoor entertaining areas overlooking the infinity pool sitting over the Estates private Vineyard. Settle in to one of the many lounge spaces, or stretch out on a sunlounge or egg chair. Spend evenings alfresco on one of the multiple patios and admire the vineyard-populated views of Feathertop Wineries Private Estate.

When the cooler months arrive, the home and its many outdoor areas still offer beautiful spaces to utilise regardless of the temperature or weather. With optional heating for the pool and spa and an electronic roof to cover the alfresco pizza oven and lounge space you won’t need to rush indoors and be couped up the entire time, wrap one of our outdoor blankets around you and enjoy as much fresh country air as you can.

The Vineyard Residence was simply nothing short of spectacular.

It's luxurious open living space boasts a panoramic view of the feather top vineyard and mount buffalo. Our first reaction was of simp...le awe at the stunning landscape.

The indoor/outdoor heated pool was an absolute game changer this was a massive highlight for us.

Oh and the kitchen sink splashback is a fishtank.

Feather top winery is located at the base of the property and is a must see for sure. Grace who is the winemaker at feathertop led a wine tasting for us and was amazing!

The property is really close to Bright, which is such a pretty alpine town that we fell in love with. We enjoyed an easy walk along the river in town which was a nice little adventure near our stay.

Honestly couldn't recommend The Vineyard Residence enough.

If you are wanting to stay somewhere luxurious, enjoy some of the best landscape views on offer, and have the option to dip in a pool after a day of wine tasting, then this is the perfect place for you.

Our vineyard was established in 1988 with a belief that the Alpine Valleys provided the ideal terroir and climate to experiment and grow a variety of different grapes. The site was originally an old horse paddock overgrown with blackberries, however the potential was immediately evident. Not only for growing grapes, but for its appeal as a tourism destination. A place where people could relax in an unpretentious atmosphere and discover the elegance of hand crafted cool climate wines. It is a site blessed with incredible natural beauty overlooking the alpine peaks of Mt Buffalo, surrounded by native forests, rolling hills and located on the Murray To Mountains Rail Trail. With determination and a list of 30 varietals the winery opened up its cellar door in 1989. The very first winery in the Alpine Valleys. At the end of the Bushies Love Shack driveway, you’ll see the rail trail, at this time of year the autumn leaves are changing color and are amazing to see.

We hiked from the Eurobin Creek car park to the top of Mount Buffalo.

Fresh Berry Picking

Along the way from Melbourne to Freeburgh, we pulled over to buy some farm fresh berries. We could pick our own, and had the juiciest sweetest raspberries from a local farm. They were so friendly and the berries were delicious, but picking them ourselves was the best part.

Dinner At Porepunkah Pub

Porepunka pub is a vibe! It's a fantastic local pub that is clearly loved by it's locals, with a great outdoor area out the front for a bev or two. The food was great as expected, and the locals were super friendly and welcoming, even Mr Pickles got lots of pats and attention.
