CABIN DETAILS
Our approach to the conversion was to remain true to its authenticity and environment. The original timber truss roof and raw ply lining are prominent features that project warmth and an intimate, cosy atmosphere. Guests have access to basic kitchenette which includes hotplate, bar fridge, coffee machine (pods included) and kettle. The open-plan bedroom is nestled around a wood fireplace and comfy daybed seating, offering the perfect nook to read from a unique selection of magazines and books. The ensuite includes a walk-in shower and loo. Witness dramatic sunrises from the comfort of your bed by morning, and a warming glass of pinot by the firepit at night.
Bed configuration:
1 x QUEEN
1 x SINGLE (converted daybed)
Located on Point Leo Road, the barn is a minute's scenic drive to a vast selection of award winning wineries, restaurants, cafes and beaches enabling year-round experiences on the stunning Mornington Peninsula.
The cabin is within close proximity to the main house. We are often away/out, but full private access of property is not guaranteed.

The log box was an amazing place to wind down. It rained during our stay but was beautiful in front of the fire listening to it. Will defiantly be back!

Ashcombe Maze Lavender Gardens
Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Farm. Great bit of fun for a family, we went through all of the available mazes and completed the great gnome and fairy hunt!
Walk The Red Hill Rail Trail
Park behind Epicurean and access the beginning of the trail right behind the main shed. Roughly one hour of meandering beauty behind rural properties, wineries and horse tracks. Hug the right and pop out at Merricks General Store.

Rock Pools
Point Leo Beach Rock Pools. Who doesn’t like exploring rock pools? These were flat and very accessible with absolutely no one around, it was almost quiet enough to hear the crabs scuttling.

Merricks General Store
Merrick’s General Store. A very tasty lunch and a couple of bottles of wine to take away. I’m told the egg and bacon roll is a must have for next time
Stand Up Paddle At Crunchie Point
Park near the Point Leo Boat Club to access one of the Mornington Peninsula's best hidden bays, an idyllic spot to launch the paddle board.

Fishing
Fishing off Dromana Pier. We tried our luck with a couple of hand reels from the end of the pier. The fish we ate that night definitely wasn’t bought from the local IGA.
