Had a wonderful stay at Black Cabin #1. It’s beautifully situated within a macadamia farm in the Byron Bay Hinterland not far from the lovely villages of Clunes and Bangalow. The outdoor bathtub was h...eaven, with beautiful valley views. I’ll never forget sitting in the bath watching a storm and lighting pass (far-away!) in the distance.
The cabin is beautifully styled with everything I needed for my 6 days there. Nearby Bexhill quarry lake was a gorgeous place to swim on a hot day to cool down, with the water lilies blooming. Not too far away was the lovely Minyon Falls - well worth a trip. Take a pack with some lunch for a 2-3 hour circuit, although you can just drive to the falls lookout and save yourself the hike!
I did go to Byron, but to be honest, with all the chaos and busyness of being there on a long weekend, I retreated out of there as quickly as possible, returning to the quiet and peace of the hinterland. I would definitely highly recommend this beautiful cabin for anyone wanting a quiet place to retreat from the craziness of city life. It was truly heavenly.

This was the perfect secluded get away! I did not want to leave the outdoor bath. It was clean, beautiful shower and the comfiest bed!

Gorgeous view and a great location. Accommodation was ideal; clean and well set up. Would happily come back here in the future.

We stopped at the Il Carretto Pizza pop-up in the park in Clunes, and picked up a takeaway wood-fired pizza and a delicious dolce with dark chocolate, Morello cherries, and mascarpone.
