This fully fenced property offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway—with plenty of space for pups to roam freely while you unwind.

The Main House
Relax in two cozy bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other with a single bed. The recently renovated kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring a fridge, gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need to whip up delicious meals.

The Loft
Nestled in the backyard, this oversized, light-filled space boasts a queen bed and stunning views of the nearby farms. It’s the perfect spot for a little extra privacy, complete with its own toilet.

The Property
Set on a quiet dead-end street, you’ll often hear the soothing sounds of waves crashing in the distance. Enjoy evenings by the outdoor fire pit or cozy nights by the indoor fireplace — *we supply wood for your first night or two (depending how big you like to go), and you can easily grab more from local shops or service stations nearby. Take advantage of the paved driveway for easy access and parking.

Location
We’re walking distance to the surf beach and Sunderland Bay, and just a 10-minute drive to all the best attractions on the island.

We would highly recommend Phillip Island Hideaway for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable coastal holiday, especially those with fur babies.

This was our second trip to Hideaway thi...s year with our two bengal kittens, and loved our summer and winter stay. The property is perfect for active cats - there’s lots of space, nice light, a secure backyard and no cat hazards (even for high energy ones).

The apartment (and loft) is in very good condition, beds are comfortable, kitchen is great, and there is plenty of space for a group of 3-5 people to enjoy their own quiet time when they want to. The property is also in a great location - a quiet residential area very close to the ocean and beach access areas.

The fire was also perfect and kept the place warm all weekend, despite the wild weather.

Most importantly, Alexis is a great host. She is very responsive from the first inquiry through to the end of the stay. Thoughtful and flexible, and was very generous in welcoming two little kittens into her home for the first time earlier this year, and again for this winter stay.

We will definitely return regularly, and have told all our friends with cats to visit too.

We had a lovely stay at the Phillip Island Hideaway. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The weather wasn’t great during our visit, but that just gave us the perfect excuse to s...tay in and enjoy relaxing by the fire. Was loved by adults, baby and fur babies alike. We would happily stay again!

This was a perfect stay with our pup, we spent 2 wonderful nights at the property. We laid in the sun throughout the day and cozied up in front of the fire at night. It has ALL the amenities you need ...and ample space for your furry friend to play! We will absolutely be back for another stay, thank you Alexis.

My husband Jed and I love to go on weekend adventures with our dog family whenever we can. For me every adventure throughout Australia is a first because I am originally from NYC. We have 2 amazing labs: Axl and Harley, which everyone seems to fall in love with. A cuddle or treat and they are all yours. Most likely forgetting the parents they came with 🤣 we hope that if you are staying with us, our home gives you lasting memories and heaps of laughter with your family!

This is a really nice little winery with delicious wines. Tasting is $15 for the six wines of your choice. My recommendations: Roaster Shiraz, Riesling, and Sparkling Shiraz.

Smiths Beach

Smiths Beach is normally the best surf spot for kids and beginners surfers on popular Phillip Island. This small beach has soft waves that are ideal for practising in the whitewater or catching green waves when the surf is small.

Snorkeling In Plunge Pools

Between YCW and Smiths Beach, you'll come across a series of secret swimming holes (accessible at low tide). The magical spot is crystal clean bluey-green water and you will spot some friendly fish, seaweed and coral along with excellent launching platforms to jump in.

Kaola Sanctuary

Discover an incredible wildlife sanctuary on Phillip Island where you can see koalas roam freely, without cages. This sanctuary is dedicated to restoring the wildlife population and preserving the local environment. Our family had an amazing experience spending a few hours immersed in nature, walking among the wildlife.
