Additional Information

6x5m POOL HAS JUST BEEN INSTALLED WITH BOTH SOLAR AND GAS HEATING. The pool is 1.8m deep at the deep end. The pool can be enjoyed all year round at an average temperature of 30 degrees.

Ivy Tyrone offers open plan living, with two separate living areas, including a sunken lounge complete with sandstone fireplace, four double sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fantastic fully fenced back yard complete with fire pit, outdoor dining, and barbeque.

The kitchen, dining, and laundry are fully equipped with modern appliances to ensure that all your needs are met with minimum effort and a second lounge is a perfect place for the kids to relax & watch a movie after a long day at the beach – peace and tranquillity – or alternatively give the adults space to spread out (and put on a little retro vinyl for fun).

Then there is the hidden gem – the sunken tub in the internal courtyard – a place to wash away the sand or relax with a glass of wine under the stars.

The decor is beautiful – with a touch of Scandi, located in the heart of the Peninsula – but with a peaceful vibe, there are so many interesting features to explore – you may never want to leave!

The Master King bedroom comes with its own ensuite & outdoor space for additional privacy.

Heading to the rear of the house & onto the decking, you will find a beautifully maintained grass area and firepit – a perfect space for the kids to play or to enjoy a BBQ with friends.

Ivy Tyrone is conveniently positioned in Rye, close to both the Ocean and Bay beaches, and just a short 5 min drive to the local shops.

Rye is the gateway to the rest of the Peninsula’s must-sees; Sorrento, boutique wineries, golf courses, and the Peninsula Hot Springs.

What a property! Our family loved our stay. Everything was above expectation and the host was lovely and great to communicate with. The pool is perfect. It was a perfect layout for our family of seven... adults and three children under five. It was really safe for the children and they were easily supervised from all areas of the house. The outdoor bath was an absolute hit with them also.
We highly highly highly recommend this property.

Swimming In Port Phillip Bay

Crystal clear waters and long stretches of sandy beaches make Port Phillip Bay a dream on a hot summers day. Walk beyond the sandbars into gently lapping waves and cool off.

Sunset At Tyrone Beach

It's the bay beach at the end of Flinders St. Lovely family friendly beach with nice walk through the teas trees and plenty of cute bathing boxes. There was no one there so we could have our own moment! The sunset was unbelievable.

Dimmicks Coastal Walk

We strolled the lush coastal walk to Dimmicks Beach admiring the wildness of this secluded Mornington back beach. We sat on timber bench chair, mesmerised by the rough swell crashing against the rugged rock formations forming pools and mini water falls.

No 16 Beach

This picturesque spot with clay coloured cliffs and soft sand is the perfect spots to watch the wild ocean and get your ocean therapy. At low tide you can spot the Dragon's Head rock formation.

No 16 Hidden Clifftops

Number 16 Beach has a beautiful sandy beach to walk along, but also an easily missed track to some wild clifftop views. Such an ace spot to watch the waves roll in and smash against the cliffs. When you arrive at the car park walk back to near the entrance you'll find a gate that leads to the cliffs.

Exploring Rock Pools

The tourist attraction at Number 16 beach is the Dragon's Head. Although we were there at low tide for the rool pools! We found heaps of sea creatures as well as some caves and rock pools deeper enough to swim in! Great place to explore and looked like a top place to fish too! Beautiful beach.
