We absolutely loved staying at the Tradesmans Cottage - One. When we arrived the house was incredibly warm and inviting. The house was spotless and beautifully styled. It rained for most of the time w...e stayed in Bright but we popped on the fire and snuggled up and watched movies which was actually so lovely. Would highly recommend!

The tradesmans cottage was just as it was described. Humble but with an eye to detail and thoughtful and welcome additions such as milk and wine. Also the fire going and a warm house to arrive to. Communication was great.

We had a lovely stay and the house is so beautifully finished, clean, cozy and very well equipped. With the crisp autumn nights and mornings, the fireplace was put to full use. The location is perfect... with a very short walk to the bakery (great coffee) and pub. We had our furchild with us and our morning stroll across the Ovens river and along the river trail was a perfect way to start the day. We would definitely stay here again when heading up this way for an escape. We found it ideal to stay in Porepunkah - away from the crowds in Bright - yet, still having quick access by car or bike - especially to our favourite Mystic MTB trails.

Dinner At Porepunkah Pub

Porepunka pub is a vibe! It's a fantastic local pub that is clearly loved by it's locals, with a great outdoor area out the front for a bev or two. The food was great as expected, and the locals were super friendly and welcoming, even Mr Pickles got lots of pats and attention.

Autumn Bliss In Bright

We all know that Bright in autumn is reason enough to take a road trip to the High Country. This was the best autumn bliss we'd had in such a long time.
