My partner Sharni, my parents, Sadie dog 🐕 and I, have had a wonderful stay in The Tradesmans Cottage - One. The accommodation was very clean, neat and tidy, and has very good quality amenities. We w...ere all very comfortable and felt relaxed.
A lovely time was spent exploring Porepunkah, Bright and other nearby towns such as Beechworth.
Sadie dog 🐕 came with us everywhere and especially enjoyed the canyon walk and dips in the Ovens river.
A few memorable things we did,
Dinner at the Porepunkah Pub (My steak was very nice).
Dinner at the Wandi Pub (The live entertainment was good and the food delicious)
Lunch at the Last St. Brewery in Beechworth (Home of famous cordials, syrups and liqueurs)
The Beechworth Honey store (All things honey)
Pepo Farms in Ovens (Edible pumpkin seeds, nuts and cooking oils)
All in all a really enjoyable getaway!

We absolutely loved staying at the Tradesmans Cottage - One. When we arrived the house was incredibly warm and inviting. The house was spotless and beautifully styled. It rained for most of the time w...e stayed in Bright but we popped on the fire and snuggled up and watched movies which was actually so lovely. Would highly recommend!

The tradesmans cottage was just as it was described. Humble but with an eye to detail and thoughtful and welcome additions such as milk and wine. Also the fire going and a warm house to arrive to. Communication was great.

If you're exploring the High Country you have to stop by this place for coffee and local food.
Dinner At Porepunkah Pub
Porepunka pub is a vibe! It's a fantastic local pub that is clearly loved by it's locals, with a great outdoor area out the front for a bev or two. The food was great as expected, and the locals were super friendly and welcoming, even Mr Pickles got lots of pats and attention.
The Rail Trail
At the end of the Bushies Love Shack driveway, you’ll see the rail trail, at this time of year the autumn leaves are changing color and are amazing to see.
Mount Buffalo
We hiked from the Eurobin Creek car park to the top of Mount Buffalo.
Autumn Bliss In Bright
We all know that Bright in autumn is reason enough to take a road trip to the High Country. This was the best autumn bliss we'd had in such a long time.
Bright Brewery
We stopped past the Bright Brewery and treated ourselves to a pizza and beer.
