We had the most beautiful stay at this Currarong Beach House. It was a beautifully renovated house, and every detail had been so well thought through. The beach was on our doorstep (literally) and the... beds were one of the comfiest we have ever slept in. Sharna was a very accommodating host, and her welcome email was full of excellent tips. We will definitely be back!

We had such a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend at this cute coastal beach house. The location was perfect — right across from the beach — yet still a quiet, peaceful oasis. Everything was clean and mode...rn with all the essentials you need. The premium linen/decor added a luxe touch, and the decking was the perfect place to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Loved having Peels coffee van just down the road on weekends too — such a great local touch. Would absolutely stay again!

We are an outdoors family of four who loves being by the ocean that is when we are not "in" the ocean surfing and swimming. We live in the northern suburbs of Wollongong but I grew up in the tiny coastal surfing village of Currarong and it will always be the place we call home. We purchased our cute little beachhouse and renovated a year later with the help of my Dad. It is our favourite place in the world to relax, recharge and enjoy the great outdoors.

Beach Out Front
Right out front of the house beachouse is the most picturesque bay.
Long Beach
This beautiful beach rivals some of the best in the world. The stunning clear waters and white sands make this spot a favourite to visit when staying in Currarong. Best of a N/NE wind.
Cliffs Of Currarong
Parking at Abraham Bosom beach, I crossed the wooden bridge to begin Coomies Walk. After a tight squeeze through the small crevasse of Gosang's Tunnel, I came out onto the cliffs of Currarong and boy oh boy, what an amazing view it was!
It feels like you’ve entered a hidden portal through Gosang's Tunnel, which opens up onto a sheer cliff drop (it's safe, but not for the faint of heart). You can watch the roaring ocean crash up against the cascading cliffs, but every time I visit here, I find myself just sitting and staring out into the vast horizon, simply caught up in the beauty of nothingness – it truly is a magical place to switch off (if you’re not afraid of heights).

Quick Dip At Wilsons Beach
Wilson’s beach is located in the Currarong area, a half-hour drive from Culburra. You'll find signs for Wilson’s Beach along the Coomies walk and it's a hidden gem of the South Coast, if I do say so myself. Snorkelling and swimming is the usual go here, but I managed to also sit and relax in the gorgeous autumn sun, enjoying the beautiful scenery all to myself.
Currarong Boat Ramp
Brief walk between the rain clouds to the local boat ramp. The views were beautiful!
Hidden Paths Rock Pool Magic
The Currarong Rock Pools are a must-see, but it’s the incredible natural formations that truly stand out from an aerial view. Carved into the rugged coastline, the pools reveal striking shapes and vibrant turquoise water you don’t fully appreciate until you see the coastline from above. We followed the 2 km return coastal walking track, wandering along the beach, crossing the little wooden bridge and stopping to take it all in. It’s an easy adventure that rewards you with breathtaking views and reminds you that some of the best coastal experiences are found by simply slowing down and exploring.
