We had the best time at Possum Hollow! It was the perfect getaway from the city. We loved cooking on the outdoor fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub while listening to the birds.
Yvonne and Wayne we...re so welcoming and even took us down to show us around the farm. We had such a great time having a few beers, chatting and getting to know more about their life and the farm. We adored their two dogs Chilli and Banjo.
We’ll be recommending Possum Hollow to all our friends and will definitely be back. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

What a delight! Possum Hollow was such a beautiful escape. Tucked amongst the trees and rolling hills, it felt peaceful, private and wonderfully connected to nature. The tiny home was cosy and thought...fully set up. The fire pit and wood-fired hot tub made for such a special evening under the stars. IT WAS EPIC!

Cosy Game Night In
After a day of exploring, we wound down with a cosy game night at the tiny house. We brought a few of our favourite games to completely unplug and also made use of the ones at the house—playing cards, starting a puzzle, and a few rounds of dominoes. It was the perfect way to slow down, switch off from screens, and enjoy some simple fun.
Open Fire Cooking At The Tiny House
One of the highlights of our stay was cooking over the open fire just outside the tiny house. We made both dinner and breakfast this way, and there’s something so grounding about starting or ending your day by the fire. Whether you're brewing your morning coffee or winding down with something simple under the stars, it’s a beautiful way to slow down and connect with the moment.
Peaceful Walks On The Property
Take a peaceful stroll through the native bushland and enjoy the serenity of the property. There are a few short trails to explore, perfect for a morning wander or golden hour walk. If you'd like to meet the friendly farm animals or discover more hidden corners of the property, reach out to the lovely hosts—they’re more than happy to show you around.

I lit the wood fire to heat the water to enjoy a hot tub sesh just before dark and into the night.

The Destination
The drive through the hills and rainforest was just as beautiful as the destination with nearly all four seasons! Ha!
Mount Worth State Park
Located on the western rim of the Strzelecki Ranges, Mount Worth State Park includes 1040 hectares of Mountain Ash forest and native bush. There are several walks within Mount Worth State Park that range in distance. The walks explore a diverse range of native vegetation.
Mount Worth State Park
It was an hour drive away, but we knew it would be worth it based on pictures. Plus, the drive was a good excuse to stop at a local bakery and pick up a few pastries. At Mount Worth, the rainforest walking trails were so lush. In the end, we dipped our toes in the river to cool off. It was so refreshing! I would definitely recommend this because it wasn't too strenuous, just perfect for a relaxing adventure.
Picnic And Exploring Moonlight Creek
I set up a picnic lunch here as well as explored the walking trails through the Mount Worth State Park. Lots of little creeks, bird life and fungi! Easy track, toilets available as well as heaps of parking and picnic tables.

We grabbed some delicious sandwiches from Gippsland Food & Wine before heading to Mount Worth State Park. Lovely picnic at the Moonlight Creek Picnic Area then walked the 1.8km Giant's circuit.
Mount Worth State Park
Moonlight Creek picnic ground at Mount Worth State Park has several rainforest walking tracks that range in distance. Discover gorgeous little creeks and the old timber mill sites of the early 1900's or perhaps have a bbq or relax around the fire pits (byo wood). There are also toilet facilities.
