Welcome to the "Fairy Wren" treetop sancturary, set within the Oasis Resort to full access resort amenities including pool, sauna, spa, gym, tennis court and kids games room. The house is nestled amongst the trees of the Arakwal national park, a vibrant coastal nature reserve in Byron Bay home to diverse birdlife, wallabies, and other rare native species.

Our Eco holiday Home is a freestanding, newly built, multi level, light filled, open planned design with stunning cathedral ceilings, wooden floor boards & a spacious deck overlooking the nature reserve. our heavily home is ideally located, just a short scenic walk through the park to the magnificent Tallow Beach and 5 min drive to the energetic centre of town.

We had the perfect stay at Fairy Wren during our short visit in Byron. Alice was super accommodating with our requests and a great host. The property itself is perfect for a relaxing getaway. So quiet... and tranquil, yet minutes away from all the shops in Byron. Thank you so much, we highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay in Byron. The house was beautiful. The only thing I would like to mention, is that it is a multi-level property with 3 lots of stairs (4 levels from the entry). There was only one... baby gate and it wasn't secure. So just something to consider if you have little ones that are cruising around/learning to walk.

The complex pool and tennis court was clean and well maintained.

We discovered a local art supplies store, quite a few thrift stores including Global Ripple and Tallows Beach was very close by to the property. We noticed though, the beaches were not patrolled. So we didn't go in but it was a beautiful beach to walk along.

We participated in a meditation and breath work class, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at the Bamboo Yoga Temple and its backdrop of the forest.

Walk To Tea Tree Lake

This easy walking track is quickly accessible from the house and took us through native bush lands to where the Tea Tree lake meets the ocean. We watched whales breaching whilst a storm rolled in over the horizon.

Brunch At General Store

This gorgeous cafe was the first establishment in Byron to ban single-use plastic and has a cosy, local vibe with great quality produce and friendly staff. We loved the vegetarian koftas and the adaptogenic cacao!

To access Tallow Beach you can either follow the little path down from the accommodation (dogs are not allowed here) or you can drive to Suffolk Park's bike track and start your walk to the beach from here with your dog. It only takes 10 mins to reach the beach and it's a very peaceful walk, perfect if you love birdwatching.
