We have a lots of beautiful flora and fauna including a resident wombat, ducks, the odd kangaroo and platypus in the swimming pool (just down the end of the street).
No extra guests then the maximum catered for allowed (which includes no camping on the property). No outdoor fires to be lit - please use our safe and cosy fireplace inside.
There is an electrical vehicle car charger just outside the police station and near the pub. Please use that and not our homes electricity for charging your vehicle.

Mad about nature and entrenched in garden designs and floristry on the Mornington Peninsula. Saving my holiday leave for days away in Omeo and counting down to retirement there.

Exploring Omeo

Omeo is a town quite like no other I've come across. It was like walking back in time to a Western story. We had an awesome time exploring the town and make sure you make your way to the cuckoo clock shop and talk to the owner Leonie! She's a real treat!

Mount Kosciuszko Views

A roadside stop just out of Omeo you can gaze across to Australia's highest mountain range and the great Kosciuszko in Jindabyne. It's a great pit stop in the journey.

Pioneer Lookout With Golden Surprises

An easy walk through the bush to find this lookout. Keep your eye out of snakes and shiny rocks friends, aka gold! We didn't see any but the walk does have some long grass about. There's also toilets and other things to do here such as caves, creeks and several bush walks! So pack a picnic and make a day of it!
