Sorry for the delayed review Chris! We had the most spectacular winter stay at Outlook Hill. The outdoor bath and fire pit were just perfect for still enjoying the tranquility of the backyard in the c...old weather. The indoor fireplace was such a comfort. Lots of movies (and a 4am World Cup soccer game!) were watched on the projector by the warmth of the fire. You’ve thought of everything and we really felt at home for our 5 day stay. Could spend your entire time just in Venus Bay, but Chris’ place is also a great base for exploring nearby towns like Fish Creek, Walkerville and sights like Cape Liptrap Lighthouse. Thank you so much for sharing this special place with us, it provided just the perfect nature immersion that our little family needed.

We went to Venus bay to check out the amazing beach and surf.

Fishermans Jetty Reserve

A leisurely, mid-morning stroll down to the banks of Fishermans Jetty. Along with an abundance of fish, we were also lucky enough to spot a wombat!

Sunset At 4 Venus Bay

Perfect destination for a sunset stroll to burn off those dinner treats. The ambience is stunning!

No 4 Beach

Only a short five minute drive from our accommodation, we set ourselves down on the beach in Venus Bay to watch the sun go down and see the sky colour itself in pastels.

Getting a new board, and getting Skye a wetsuit for her upcoming birthday, we were keen to get some decent minutes on the water this weekend. The wind picked up a bit too much on Saturday, so beach activities did the trick, but Sunday’s conditions provided the goods!
