Located only 5 minutes to Kangaroo Valley Village and 20 to Berry The Cottage at Sojourn Kangaroo Valley is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Valley. Surrounded by lush farmland the cottage also enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.

The cottage has just been stylishly renovated with brand new furnishings and appliances throughout. The open plan living area has an open wood fire (firewood provided May- September) and air-conditioning so your comfort is assured year round.

The kitchen is fully equipped for those looking to prepare meals including an oven, cooktop, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.

The stylish bedroom has a comfy Queen size be with quality linen and there is an adjoining ensuite.
The Cottage has a fantastic outdoor area where guests can enjoy the stunning views.

Guests can just sit back and relax on comfortable arm chairs, cook up a meal on the Webber BBQ or sit around the fire pit and take in the countless stars at night. Our favourite feature though is the wonderful built in outdoor bath!
Complimentary Wi-Fi and bed and bath linen provided.

There are two additional cottages on the property—The Silo and The Dairy—both available for guest stays. Each cottage and its outdoor space are thoughtfully positioned and screened for complete privacy. For larger groups of up to 11 guests, all three cottages can be rented together for an exclusive stay.

Kayak Swim In Kangaroo River

Sandy spot down under the iconic Hampton Bridge along the Kangaroo River. Kayak hire available or if you are like me, set up a little picnic, worship the sun and enjoy a fresh water dip!
Easy carpark with toilets available at the 'Riverside Park' and a paved walk down to the sandy side river beach!

The Village

We started our morning by cruising through the village, which offered a few boutique shops, cafes and a rad bakery. First off, The General Cafe had an amazing brunch and great coffee – would highly recommend this place. Secondly, the bakery also had the most delicious pies. On our last day, we treated ourselves at the Friendly Inn for a couple of schooners and lunch. This place had a lot of character, both inside and out, not to mention a nice outdoor beer garden.

KV Coffee Co is the go-to spot in Kangaroo Valley for an amazing coffee. They’ve got top-quality beans and a friendly vibe. It’s the perfect place to fuel up before exploring or relax in their lush outdoor area.

From the front, this first appears to be a tiny little shop but it just keeps going back and back and back. A magical experience weaving through the maze of bookshelves eventually landing in a leadlight windowed light-filled room filled with the loveliest children's books. We browsed for hours and left with armfuls!

Kangaroo Valley Markets

The Kangaroo Valley Markets are held behind The Friendly Inn on the second Sunday of the month. We bought some special treats for our fur babies and enjoyed the live music in the beer garden!

Kangaroo Valley General Store & Cafe go above and beyond to make sure their patrons are well looked after and fed. A great crew of friendly staff and some awesome food including home-brew kombucha, house-baked bread and some great scones! I highly recommend the sauerkraut & avocado sandwich!
