Pavilion 22 – Mid-Century Coastal Escape

Step into Pavilion 22, a beautifully renovated original mid-century house just steps from Back Beach, Blairgowrie. With its classic orange front door, walnut timber and slate floors, and light-filled interiors, this home perfectly blends retro charm with modern luxury.

Sleeping 13 guests across 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Pavilion 22 is ideal for families, friends, or multi-generational getaways. The house features two spacious living rooms and an original open wood fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings.

The brand-new kitchen is a chef’s dream, complete with an adjoining butler’s pantry/laundry, while large sliding doors bring the outdoors in, making entertaining effortless.

Outside, enjoy a solar-heated pool straight out of a classic Slim Aarons photograph, a shaded wisteria-draped dining area, and a yard designed for fun with a soccer net, inground trampoline, and basketball hoop.

Every corner of Pavilion 22 celebrates mid-century design, from the clean lines and timber accents to the seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether lounging poolside, dining under the wisteria, or gathering by the fireplace, this is a stylish, relaxed retreat for creating lasting memories.

Walk Along Bridgewater Bay

Choose among the many walking paths at Bridgewater Bay and take in the views that look at to the Bass Strait. During the warmer season, you can walk to the rock pools along the shore when the tides have subsided.

Natural Rock Pool Swims

This spot is wild and otherworldly. We clambered the slippery seaweed covered rocks and explored the large rock formations and swam in the beautiful natural pools.
Blairgowrie Beach

Blairgowrie Beach

My favourite hidden gem! At low-tide deep rock pools are exposed, if you’re brave jump off the giant rock into the sea.

The wild side of the Peninsula has beaches aplenty with rockpools and rocky outcrops that meet the sand and waves. Year round these beaches make an exciting spot to visit.
