Fantastic spot for a relaxed getaway. The cottage is very beautiful and comfortable with lots of carefully thought through details. The gardens and fire pit are really lovely and there are lots of wal...ks in the local area worth checking out. The local pub also does a great meal, and they are some fabulous cafes and cute shops. Thanks for having us!

Amazing stay, such a cute, modern and homely design with stunning gardens! We will definitely be back. We loved the bee inspired elements and the hosts were so thoughtful about how everything was pres...ented even down to small things like instructions and a guide for where things in the area are.

Thank you and hopefully we’re back very soon!

Hello we are Peter and Margaret, A passion for travelling, experiencing different cultures, meeting people and in turn staying in amazing accomodation grew into a dream to create our own special place for others to experience. The Apiary is a blend of Peter and Margaret's passions, beekeeping and gardening. Our cottage sits in a part of the garden that is nestled amongst moss covered oaks, which hum with the sound of bees in the springtime when in flower. We hope you experience feeling the peace of being connected to the surroundings of The Apiary as it changes through the seasons.

Lunch At Cafe Escargot

This local gem was the best restaurant we discovered in the surrounding areas. Vincenza and Doug run this restaurant, providing their guests with a lovely space for functions, independent accommodations and excellent paddock to plate food.

A lot of the vegetables and cheeses come directly from their harvest, and almost everything is made in house, from pickles to deli meats and everything in between. They’re well known for the selection of snails they serve (and they were outstanding)!

Curvy Roads And Impromptu Produce Stops

I took the roads less travelled towards the berry farm and found some produce stalls and beautiful scenery along the way. The spud shed was just on the Princes Highway but I wasn't on that long before I turned down a track towards Moonlight Creek.

Sunny Creek Fruit Berry Farm

We love 'pick-your-own' farms and Sunny Creek is probably one of our favourites in Victoria. There is a wide range of berries available to take home or you can have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful Gippsland views.

Narracan Falls

Narracan Falls is easily accessible, just a few meters from the car park. A picnic area is also available! Due to the heavy rains in the past few weeks, the waterfall was huge. Gorgeous!
