Casa Celeste, Grand Architectural Residence

Welcome to Casa Celeste. There are properties you stay at, and then there are properties that stay with you. Casa Celeste is firmly the latter.

Architect-designed and built to impress from the outside in, this four-bedroom home sits tucked into the lush green escarpment of Stanwell Park, with the beach and the famous lagoon just a short walk from your front door. From the moment you pull up and see the striking dark charcoal facade, the sandstone base and the sweeping glass balustrades framing the valley beyond, you know this one is different.

Inside, the home unfolds into a spectacular open-plan living, dining and kitchen space that is designed for the kind of staying-in that feels like a treat in itself. The living room is anchored by a stunning marble-surround gas fireplace, with a plush oversized sofa, vibrant original artworks, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open wide to the valley views. On a cool evening with the fire going and the hills turning green in the fading light, there is nowhere else you would rather be.

The kitchen is a genuine standout. Full-length timber cabinetry, a beautiful marble island bench and integrated appliances make cooking for the group a pleasure rather than a chore. A Nespresso machine is ready to go for the perfect morning wake up.

Our bedding configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 1: 1 x King Bed
Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen Bed
Bedroom 3: 1 x Queen Bed
Bedroom 4: 1x Queen Bed
Three and a half bathrooms mean no waiting around for a hot shower, and with a lift servicing every level of the home, the space is effortlessly accessible for everyone in the group.

Nestled between the ocean and the Illawarra Escarpment, Stanwell Park is a coastal village that blends natural beauty with laid-back charm. Its patrolled beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and picnics, while the surrounding cliffs and escarpment offer panoramic views and excellent hiking opportunities. Bald Hill Lookout, a local highlight, is famous for hang-gliding and sweeping ocean vistas.

Cafés and eateries line Lawrence Hargrave Drive. Local favourites include LOAF Café for specialty coffee and all-day breakfast, Hargrave Café for casual meals, and Stanny Temptations for Asian-inspired lunches and dinners. Small local shops and markets offer fresh produce and unique finds.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy bushwalking trails, coastal walks, and nearby wildlife experiences at Symbio Wildlife Park. For a relaxed day, the beach reserve has picnic areas, barbecue facilities, and plenty of green space. Train access makes it easy to reach from Sydney without driving, allowing visitors to arrive stress-free.

Stanwell Park is a perfect base for families, couples, and anyone seeking a peaceful coastal retreat with a mix of adventure, relaxation, and local character. Its combination of beach, escarpment, and village atmosphere creates a memorable holiday setting.

Welcome to Getawayz NSW. My name is James and I am the Managing Director! Getawayz NSW was created by myself when I worked in the corporate world. There were so many times in my corporate life where I would be sitting at my desk thinking “just get me away”! I had a few investment properties that I had just put on Airbnb and I was being thanked almost every day for helping people with their dream holidays! I created spaces with love and detail. For me, it’s not only about the location but also about the space and the small touches. I thought there must have been a gap in the market for premium accommodation services with professionals that do not have time to share their beautiful homes. My aim is to provide the most luxurious experiences for all my guests. From the moment they open the door, I want there to be a wow factor! Whether it be a bad day at work, months in lockdown over COVID-19, or anything in between with the struggles that the last 2 years have bought us, Getawayz NSW is a pun on “get me away” - but not just to anywhere, but to one of the best homes in NSW. Once you have stayed at one of my properties, I want the first thing to be is when you return home is wanting to book with Getawayz NSW again! Getawayz NSW offers some of the most premium inner-city homes, beautiful country cottages, luxury eco-cabins to grand homesteads as well as some of NSW’s most gorgeous beach homes. I (James, the Managing Director) have never been one to feel boxed in or be put in a box - I like to think outside the box! I wanted to create a brand that shows no matter what you are after in NSW, Getawayz will be able to give you a premium offering no matter what the area. Whether it’s beach, bush, or city life - we have the best homes available to offer!

Scarborough Beach

A perfect place to picnic on the hill, and explore the rocks pools with the kids.

Figure 8 Pools

Figure Eight Pools are on a rock ledge south of Burning Palms Beach in Royal National Park, Sydney. You can’t drive directly to the pools. The shortest walk is a steep 3.5km track that winds down more than 100m of elevation to the ocean. Even with the new boardwalk National Parks built, it will take over one hour to walk there.

The Figure 8 Pools walk includes about 15 minutes of rock hopping over basketball-sized rocks and a challenging walk across wet, slippery rock ledges. It's not an easy walk so give yourself plenty of time.

After a swim, you’ll need to walk back up that steep track to your car, so maximise your time in the 8 pools to make the walk worth it. And if you remember only one thing, it’s to visit Figure Eight Pools at low tide.
