Welcome to The Bridgewater — a relaxed coastal retreat just moments from the iconic shores of Bridgewater Bay. This stylish mid-century inspired beach house features 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas, a cosy wood fireplace, sun-soaked outdoor deck and space for families or friends to unwind after days spent exploring the coastline, rock pools and crystal-clear waters of Blairgowrie.

The Bridgewater is a laidback coastal escape just steps from one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most breathtaking stretches of coastline. With a warm mid-century feel, cork flooring underfoot and thoughtfully designed spaces throughout, this beach house is made for slow mornings, salty afternoons and cosy evenings by the fire.

The home offers three comfortable bedrooms, including a master retreat complete with ensuite, alongside two separate living areas giving families and groups plenty of room to spread out and relax. One living room also features a Koala queen sofa bed for additional guests.

During the cooler months, settle in beside the wood fireplace with a glass of wine after a day exploring the rugged coastline. In summer, open up the home and enjoy the large outdoor deck — the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine, share long lunches or unwind after the beach.

What truly makes The Bridgewater special is its incredible location. You simply could not be closer to the magic of Bridgewater Bay. Spend your days discovering the famous rock pools, snorkelling through crystal-clear waters, rock hopping along the shoreline or taking in the spectacular coastal walks and treks that make this part of Blairgowrie so loved by locals and visitors alike.

Whether you’re here for beach days, winter escapes by the fire or long coastal walks with ocean views at every turn, The Bridgewater is the perfect base to experience the very best of Blairgowrie and the Mornington Peninsula.

Walk Along Bridgewater Bay

Choose among the many walking paths at Bridgewater Bay and take in the views that look at to the Bass Strait. During the warmer season, you can walk to the rock pools along the shore when the tides have subsided.

Natural Rock Pool Swims

This spot is wild and otherworldly. We clambered the slippery seaweed covered rocks and explored the large rock formations and swam in the beautiful natural pools.
Blairgowrie Beach

Blairgowrie Beach

My favourite hidden gem! At low-tide deep rock pools are exposed, if you’re brave jump off the giant rock into the sea.

Blairgowrie Back Beach

The wild side of the Peninsula has beaches aplenty with rockpools and rocky outcrops that meet the sand and waves. Year round these beaches make an exciting spot to visit.

Hidden Cave Rock Pool

We found this pool rock that was nestled in a cave during low tide part of Pirates Bay Cave. Awesome spot for the brave hearted! Easy walking to get to but you'll need some good shoes to get down to the pools as the rocks are super sharp. We parked off on the nature strip on Royadie Rd and took the little track to the left of the fenced area.
