Please note that the property itself is not fenced, so dogs must be kept on a leash whenever they are outside the home. The nearby off-leash dog park at The Cape provides a great place for your pup to stretch their legs. No cats please.

📍 Location The township of Cape Paterson is just a 3-minute drive away, with a local café, tavern and take away store. For a larger selection of shops and supplies, Wonthaggi and Inverloch are around 10 minutes by car. Cape Paterson is a fantastic base for exploring the Bass Coast and South Gippsland, with easy access to some of Victoria's most popular coastal destinations. Take a day trip to Phillip Island, visit the famous Penguin Parade, or head in the opposite direction towards Wilsons Promontory and explore its spectacular beaches, walking trails and national park.

Check-in is simple and contactless via a secure lockbox located at the property. Access details will be provided prior to arrival.

I've looked all over VIC and I'm almost 100% sure that this is the only rock pool you can find in Victoria. This place is absolutely amazing, a great summer spot and perfect for an early morning soak.
Several access points along the the coast line at Cape Paterson. Near Browns Bay is the Cape Paterson Rockpools. The weather was pretty wild when I visited but it certainly looked like a great spot to check out!
Zeal and Flow. Great cafe for coffee and croissants. Awesome hang spot to read a book and sip coffee on a rainy day. Gift shop inside too!
Surfing
Not far from Inverloch, Cape Paterson is a sheltered reef break that has pretty consistent surf and can work at anytime of the year. Offshore winds are from the north. The right reef break is best.
Walk along the beach tracks from Second Surf to The Bay, and stop for lookouts along the way for a beautiful panaromaic view, including Wilson's Prom in the distance on a clear day.
