Escape to Cedar View Estate, an adults-only A-Frame retreat in the peaceful hills of Jamberoo. Designed for connection, comfort and unhurried time together, this private cabin stay brings together considered interiors, luxurious details and beautiful rural views.

At the heart of the retreat is a luxury queen adjustable bed, allowing each guest to raise or lower the head and foot sections for personalised comfort. Settle in with a book, relax after a day exploring the region, or simply enjoy the peaceful rural outlook through the expansive windows.

The spacious bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and a touch-light mirror, creating a fresh and luxurious space to begin or end the day.

The kitchen is equipped for easy, relaxed dining, with a coffee machine, microwave oven and essential kitchen facilities. Outside, the barbecue includes a side burner—ideal for preparing a leisurely breakfast, sunset dinner or simple meal under the open sky.

Step out onto the beautiful private deck, where you can slow down, take in the surrounding landscape and enjoy one of the retreat’s signature features: two outdoor bathtubs. As evening falls, gather around the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

There is intentionally no television at Cedar View Estate. This is a place to put devices aside, enjoy meaningful conversation, share a meal, soak beneath the sky and reconnect with the person you came with.

Please note that Cedar View Estate includes a second guest cabin nearby. Cedar. Your A-Frame, including its deck, twin outdoor bathtubs, outdoor fireplace and parking area, is reserved exclusively for your stay. The second cabin is nearby and may be occupied by other guests, so occasional sight or sound of fellow visitors is possible. We ask all guests to respect one another’s privacy and remain within their allocated accommodation areas.

Travelling with friends or another couple? Subject to availability, the second cabin can be booked separately, allowing you to enjoy a shared escape at Cedar View Estate while each couple/ friends have their own private cabin and dedicated outdoor spaces

Exploring Minnamurra Rainforest

Minnamurra Rainforest is just a short drive away from Kiama. It offers an excellent outdoors experience walking through the lush subtropical forest, spotting wildlife, following the river and finding the gorgeous waterfall at the end of the track.

Minnamurra Falls Walk

During our walk to Minnamurra Falls, we followed a well-maintained trail through a lush rainforest environment. The path ran alongside the Minnamurra River, providing scenic views of its clear waters. Along the way, we encountered various native flora and fauna, including the elusive lyrebird, practiced in mimicking other bird calls. The highlight of our hike was reaching Minnamurra Falls, where we witnessed a beautiful waterfall plunging from tall cliffs into a pool below.

Lulu’s is an amazing restaurant inside The Jamberoo Lodge. Well worth a visit!

Swim Hole At Jump Rock

Carrington Falls

The lookouts and picnic spots at Carrington Falls are well worth seeking out, where the Kangaroo River dramatically spills over the escarpment below.

Hiking To The Jump Rocks

We are a sucker for a good hike and this one was probably one of the coolest. But you will need to be sure-footed as some of the track can be quite difficult and intimidating.

The walk starts at Macquarie Pass where you can take a few different tracks. We decided to head to jump rock falls. You follow the Macquarie Rivulet a couple of kilometres with so many different swimming holes, rock pools and waterfalls for you to choose from. You can go as far along as you like without being disappointed. This was such an amazing day.
