An oasis of charm, calm & textural delight. Settle into the crisp white & cosiness, rejuvenate the senses & embrace the local environment.

THE COTTAGE kangaroo valley sits nestled behind two beautiful crepe myrtles & an old federation palm tree, a short stroll away from the village itself. The property is sizeable with plenty of space outdoors within the garden for an al fresco lunch or some late night star gazing. Gardenias sprout in summer & the trees lose their leaves in winter with an autumnal hue & spring zing between.

COTTAGE DETAILS
Originally housing The Kangaroo Valley Times, a local newspaper from the late 1800's, THE COTTAGE has beautiful original features mixed with the new. An industrial style kitchen sits side by side with an old brick fireplace, soft white linens & fine art.

Finishes of raw wood, concrete, luxurious oil paintings & textural details throughout, evoke a beautiful sense of warmth & curation beyond an ordinary stay.

THE COTTAGE has one master bedroom, but can accommodate additional guests on request with two additional day beds.

A short stroll into Kangaroo Valley village or pleasant walk to Hampden Bridge & the river, you're surrounded by the lush valley, a short drive to Berry or Bowral, it's the perfect place to explore the stunning southern highlands & south coast.

Simply put we loved the cottage. Riparide ask for experiences, cool activities etc. but how much cooler to stay in a fantastic cottage, with everything provided that you could ask for. We had space,... space and more space. We had a drawing room - where we could sip sherry; we had a living room, where we binge- watched Queen's Gambit; we had a dining room where we ate in gorgeously decorated decadence; we sat outside in the little back courtyard for sundowners; we bathed in splendour in the fantastic bathroom (even with a little view), and we relaxed, we read, and once even wandered the small street of Kangaroo Valley, however we really had no real reason to leave. We were provided with a generous hamper for our stay, and a lovely bubbly Prosecco. We were abundantly rewarded at this little cottage. It was perfection. thank you Lisa.

The Cottage is absolutely stunning! The photos are what you get and I believe don’t even do justice. The vibe and the feeling at The Cottage is homely and it’s VERY clean which I loved. The decor is u...nique and inspiring, I took so many pictures! It’s located in the heart of Kangaroo Valley, you can stroll to the cafes/shops from there. I cant say enough how helpful and responsive Lisa (the host) is. She provided me with information ongoing, she responded very quickly to any questions and made the whole experience easier and enjoyable. Thank you Lisa, your a great host and your place is beautiful! Highly recommend 😀
