STUDIO DETAILS
Mountain View Farm was one of the first farms settled in the area and was a dairy up until the 1970's. We now operate three self contained accommodations and grow everlasting daisys. We have a range of animals on the farm including adjusted cattle. This room has been designed for wheelchair users but is adaptable for all.

GUEST ACCESS
The room has an open kitchen and bathroom. It faces Gulaga mountain and has a small courtyard. Guests can access the gardens around the property. Guests are welcome to wander around the property and interact with our ducks, chickens and horses.

PLEASE NOTE
Pets are welcome too - small surcharge of $35 payable on arrival. We do ask that you keep pets off the furniture and bring your own pet bedding.
Please note if you require a shower chair please let us know.
It has been specially designed to accommodate wheelchair users (AS1428) in a modern, fresh and appealing décor.
There is a fire brassiere available for use in the courtyard - BYO wood or we can supply for $25.

Kathryn’s place was super welcoming and warm. It’s a perfect place to slow down and relax. We loved the mountain views and beautiful gardens within the farm. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

What a great little place. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the experience. It’s a well equipped studio and actually quite generously proportioned. The no door bathroom would not be id...eal for all, but we managed. The location is particularly special with beautiful views and direct access to a great walking track that leads up the mountain. We hope to return again in summer.

We are a small and close family, drawn to the picturesque Mountain View property in Tilba Tilba by its special beauty and historic charm, overlooked by Gulaga, the Mother Mountain. Originally from Adelaide, with a career built in Melbourne and family made in Western Australia, the New South Wales south coast was the destination to be nearer immediate family. The move to Tilba Tilba has been a huge leap of faith for us but one that is part of an amazing experience and we feel very lucky to wake up here every day. Mountain View is a truly unique and special place. Photographs can only capture so much - the essence and wonderful energy of Gulaga can only be fully experienced in person, to feel the calming and peaceful presence that envelopes us and the beautiful surrounds that feed us. Living here with my children, Stella and Marcus, brings something surprising and beautiful every day. We have a fresh, lush space and the beauty of the mountain but are only a few minutes from the locally known Tilba beach (once described to me by a Melbournite as “the best beach ever”) and the more popular Mystery Bay. Central Tilba is also only a few minutes away and it is only a 15-minute drive from the local towns of Narooma, Bermagui and Cobargo and the services they provide. Cafe Heaven In Tilba Tilba

What a gem! Run by a French couple, this cafe serves galettes and crepes for breakfast and lunch. Not only is it charming, but it's also SO delicious.

Markets In Tilba Tilba

Tilba Growers Market happen every Saturday morning and have a great collection of local vendors and products (and cute pups!)

Mount Gulaga Walk

Follow this steep track up the mountain; at halfway the trail leads 1.6km to the foundations of the mine manager’s residence. Back to the main track and 30 minutes of hiking will lead you to The Saddle, the perfect rest spot. Finally head to the summit with spectacular views to the coast.

Mystery Bay

Mystery Bay is a short 5-minute drive north, a little further along is Handkerchief Beach and you will be at the glorious water vistas of Narooma and Dalmeny in just another 5 minutes.

Wallaga Lake

To the south, Wallaga Lake is an amazing place for birdlife and fishing! At the mouth to the sea, after a short walk along the boardwalk and over Murunna Point, the beach is endless.

Blue Pool

Recommended to us by some locals, we rode down to the Blue Pool in Bermagui. Not only was the pool stunning, but there were also seals swimming just off shore!
