Located 10 minutes from Mansfield in the high country of Victoria. Timberline Park is a working farm on the slopes of Mt Samaria State Park (leafy state park with several campsites, picnic areas and trails for hiking and mountain biking) with spectacular views of Mt Buller and other peaks of the Great Dividing Range. Mt Buller Snow Resort is a 45 minute drive and lakes Eildon and Nilahcootie, both only 10 minutes away. Check out our website for additional information and pics.

The cottage offers 3 large bedrooms with 3 king beds and 2 singles, capable of sleeping up to 8 people. Two large bathrooms including a bath tub and a fully self contained kitchen and laundry.

COTTAGE DETAILS
The property includes frontage on the Broken River and access to the longest Great Victorian Rail Trail is close by. Fruit picking, egg collecting and animal feeding are part of the experience. We have sheep, an alpaca, a horse, chickens, cows and 2 greyhounds.

The cottage features reverse cycle air-conditioning, a wood burning fireplace, 3 bedrooms all with king size beds (and an additional single bed in 2 of the rooms) fully self catered kitchen and laundry facilities. The farm also features extensive rose gardens, tennis court and a pavilion perfect for afternoon refreshments.

Such an awesome escape!! Thanks very much, Jenny and Pete for welcoming us, facilitating us and giving us a nice farm tour. We had a great time with our friends in our holidays and we will definitely come again.

Would highly recommend choosing to stay here! Jenny and Peter were very hospitable and the animals were very delightful. Oh, and the views in the pictures do not do enough justice to how beautiful thi...s location is! Everything was very comfortable and relaxing. Ideal for a little getaway and to explore the High Country. Will be back!

Amazing place with stunning views and great peaceful location. Kids loved playing with the sheeps, horse and collecting eggs in the morning. Lovely hosts which made the stay more enjoyable, look forward to visit again.

Mansfield Mini Golf, Coffee and Donuts was a great spot for a morning of family fun, rounded off with freshly made donuts.

Delatite Hotel

We enjoyed delicious pub meals at the cosy Delatite Hotel, which catered well for the kids with free activity packs, a playroom and a varied kids’ menu.

Horse Riding

You’ll discover high mountain trails, icy mountain streams and the sense of peace that comes from bonding with your horse and the land. Feel the exhilaration of cantering through High Country clearings and enjoy the magical swirl of snow gums at sunset. Whatever way you choose to go you could find yourself trekking through the same valleys and fording the same streams where mobs of cattle are regularly driven, seeing the bush in the way that only pioneers and generation of rugged cattlemen and women have seen it. There are many guided horse rides to choose from in the High Country.

The kids loved feeding a variety of animals and watching the peacocks’ displays at the Mansfield Zoo.

The clear streams and tranquil inlets of Lake Eildon and its five feeder rivers – the Big, Goulburn, Jamieson, Howqua and Delatite Rivers are an angler’s paradise ensures a magical fishing experience. Trout, perch, redfin and Murray cod are all caught in these waters.
