The Stables is a stunningly converted out building, one of two luxury farm stays at Burrow and Nest. Along with The Barn it provides direct private access to the Ovens River and is located on 10 acres as an outbuilding to the family home. You will be within 10 minutes to the town of Bright. In spring and summer enjoy swimming in the picturesque Ovens River. We also offer our guests mountain bikes to enjoy the 16 kilometres of family friendly shared trail, completing a 27 kilometre link between Harrietville and Bright, and extending the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail to the base of the Alps. Just bring a helmet and a back pack for some drinks and snacks.

THE STABLES DETAILS
The Stables is flooded with light and is stunning open plan build, featuring exposed copper pipe and polished concrete floors. North facing windows frame the mountain views and ensure privacy from the main house. If you would like to enjoy the property with friends, The Barn is also available through Riparide on the property. If you prefer to fly solo, you are situated at the front of the 10 acres and can be left undisturbed all stay long!
GUEST ACCESS
When staying at The Stables you will have access to The Ovens River. Enjoy walking through the Chestnut orchard with views of Feathertop. There are also hikes along the river for the more adventurous.

The Stables is an outbuilding and therefore within view of our main home. We have designed the building for the utmost privacy, with only one fully small window that faces our house, letting in morning sun, and custom fitted with a screened blind.
