We had a fabulous few nights at Marlo Cottage which was perfectly located in Beechworth Town. The amenities a set up of the property was fantastic and we really enjoyed learning about the heritage of the building and connections to Ned Kelly. Thank you for a lovely Beechworth getaway.

Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.
Breakfast Next Door At Amandhis
Right next door you will find the best brekky and coffee in town. The owner and staff are super friendly, we ended up going back the second day too.
Tasting At The Local Brewery
After a day of exploring we peeled back into the town super thirsty. We came across the local brewery Billsons for a beer / gin tasting paddles & snacks.
Surrounding Waterfalls
We checked out both Newton falls and Woolshed which were pumping thanks to all the rain we have had lately. Woolshed was our pick of the two if you can only check one.

Mountain Bike Riding
The Beechworth Mountain Bike Park consists of a cross-country singletrack, a short course downhill, a jumps area and beginners cross-country loop. It's the perfect place for riders of all skill levels; there is an excellent mix of short pinch climbs, tight switchbacks, and technically challenging sections - all housed within singletracks that loop to/from a single trailhead.

Woolshed Falls
The Falls are a popular destination for nature lovers and history buffs. The area was once the center of one of the richest goldfield’s in Australia, where up to 8,000 prospectors camped along the banks of Spring Creek, in search of their fortune.
The Magic Forest
The title says it all, we were recommended to this spot by a local. We really struggled at first to find it but eventually got there, it's pretty hidden.. but well worth it.
