COTTAGE DETAILS
Guests can access almost all areas of the property, including all gardens, paths, natural spring, extensive orchard and even the paddocks which are home to resident miniature donkey's, sheep & calves. The only area off limits is the private residence where the owners reside.
The gardens at Mirador Springs form the basis of the entire property and were first established by renowned local artist Reg Fazzini in the early 1970's. The original gardens were lovingly constructed over many years and formed part of Victoria's "Open Garden Scheme". Expansive lawns, winding paths, tiered walkways, natural spring and stunning views are all remarkably entwined and lead you on an unforgettable journey through this hidden paradise.
We believe a getaway should be a relaxing and intimate affair. As such, we endeavour to make your stay secluded and private. The cottage is stocked with everything you need before you arrive and even has a coded lock to save having to collect keys.
Only a short drive from quaint towns like Yarragon and Mirboo North, you will find a plethora of vintage markets and antique sellers, organic food growers, boutique specialty stores and of course cafes and eateries.
There are also numerous wineries, historical and cultural venues like Old Gippstown and Walhalla along with cinemas, arts centre for live shows, rail trails & hiking tacks and of course a day spa for the ultimate getaway.
The Cottage itself is light & airy with a country chic feel that provides everything you need for a relaxing stay including luxury linens, plush robes, free wifi & netflix, air-conditioning/heating, wood burning fire, an alfresco bath for private bathing under the treetops, a couples shower, a coffee machine, a kitchenette, and so much more.
