Spider infestations.

HOST RESPONSE:

Thank you for your feedback. We take cleanliness very seriously and can confirm there was no infestation found. As is common in Australia, an occasional small... spider can enter despite regular cleaning and pest control. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have addressed it immediately. We appreciate your comments and remain committed to maintaining high standards for our future guests.

Meg the caravan was the absolutely perfect stay for my 30th birthday! The land was big, green and full of beautiful art which made it magical. The caravan was equiped with everything you need and it w...as cozy and peaceful!

I managed to drive in less than 10mins to both Leura and Wentworth falls to do some hikes, so definitely very well connected too!

Lastly, Selena was a great host and very accommodating allowing me to do and early check in. And a big plus, she has a beautiful dog, Lumi, who I had the pleasure to meet and hang out for a bit!

Thanks Selena, I’ll definitely be back!

The Local Lookout

With Vintage Vues located within the Wild Valley Art Park property, we decided to make the most of it and took a walk around the surrounding property. Bumping into Selena and Lumi the pup along we way, we had a little company gazing at all the different artworks and sculptures on the way up to the lookout - which doubles as an amazing sunset yoga spot!

Go For A Stroll And A Picnic At Wentworth Falls Lake

Wentworth Falls lake is perfect for an easy and relaxing stroll. There is a short track that goes along the lake as well as plenty of grassed areas for a picnic. Or why not bring a hot coffee or tea to enjoy on a cold day like we did?

National Pass Walking Track

This walk through dry eucalypt forest has wonderful views of the Jamison Valley and neighbouring cliffs, plus you are rewarded with spectacular waterfalls at both ends of the walk. Highpoints are the paths, which are cut halfway up the cliff-face that lead you to a crossing of the incredible Wentworth Falls, right next to the appropriately named Giant Staircase. Be prepared with water and appropriate footwear as there are some difficult sections that require reasonable fitness.

Wentworth Falls

The track to the falls is short but steep. Leave from the Wentworth Falls picnic area and follow the track past two lookouts before descending 200 steps to the cliff edge at Fletchers lookout. Spend some time marvelling at the water cascading 100m to the valley floor before tackling the steps back.

Stroll To Minni Haha Falls

After researching the plethora of walks and waterfalls in the area, we felt like an easy walk to avoid time in the intermittent rain and where we wouldn't see any tourists. Minni Haha falls was an incredible choice! 10 minutes from Vintage Vues by car and a 20-minute walk through a well-established path, we were greeted by a quiet and idyllic waterfall that we had all to ourselves! The base of the waterfall includes a beautiful swimming hole and a small walk up to a rock jump; something we'll definitely come back for when the weather warms up.
