Kiah cottage allows you to spread out and relax, park your boat or jet ski, while relaxing away from high density living. A guest laundry is available in our barn area...ask us to show you where, if you need it. Explore our gorgeous productive property where we use organic methods for growing our food.
Pure delicious tank water supplies your cottage and we go to great lengths to keep our water clean. We use no chemicals on, in or around our cottages, and clean with homemade organic products. Also check out our Corroboree, Cooee or Billabong Cottages.
Feel free to explore the property. There is a walking trail around the back of the property which can be accessed by following the road up past Kiah Cottage and following the sign to the left. This will take you through the forest around the perimeter of our property where you will come out on the western side. You will likely spot our shy resident Wallabies, so if you have a dog please be mindful, and don't allow your dog to chase them.
We are more than happy to help you at any time if you need it. Msg us or pop up to the house and visit our small celebration space 'the barn' and enjoy the gardens.
We live in an unspoilt paradise. Termeil and Bawley Point are surrounded by National Parks, State Forests, pristine beaches and Marine Parks. If you enjoy nature, then this is an area you must visit.
There is plenty of parking on our property if you love to fish and want to bring a boat. You will need your own transport to get around in our area.
All of our local beaches are pet friendly (not national park beaches) and all are unpatrolled, so care needs to be taken in the water. Pets are welcome. There is an additional charge of $30 per pet (max 2).
Learn to identify rips (signs are at all the beaches to help you with this).
Bawley Beach has a fun gantry (platform) to jump off into the ocean and there are two boat ramps, one at Bawley Beach and one in Kioloa. Bawley Point has a small group of shops which have most supplies that you will need during your stay.
If you are arriving after 6pm, shop before you arrive. Local restaurant Merry Street, Bawley Beach Cafe, the takeaway at Bawley shops or a newly renovated Kioloa Beach Store are all worth a visit if you dont feel like cooking.
There is a petrol station just up the road on the highway and Ulladulla to the north, and Batemans Bay to the south are larger centres for shopping. A visit to Milton further north, or Mogo village to the south is a highlight. You will find a local map in the cottage to help you to explore our beautiful Bawley Coast

KIAH Cottage is charming and well appointed. The space was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The grounds are incredibly beautiful with many spots to sit and enjoy the sun.
There a...re four cottages to rent on the property and all are gorgeous! The property is full of beautiful well established trees and native plants, small and large ponds and birds everywhere. The veggie and herb gardens have a delicious selection of plants that we were encouraged to pick and eat. The owners of the property were absolutely lovely and friendly while being out of sight most of the time. I would highly recommend.

I'm a Nature lover and Eco warrior and firmly believe the health of the population is directly reflected from the health of the land. Ive lived on property for many years and love to create beautiful spaces for people to feel at one with nature.
Everything we do is organic, from little things like making all our cleaning products from natural ingredients and growing organic food, to supplying eco friendly products in our gorgeous little cottages. The energy here is rich, diverse and pure.

Fishing At Bawley Beach
Fishing is a favourite pastime, you will find plenty of fisherman casting a line from the beaches and rocks around this area. The boat ramp at Bawley beach and Kioloa means you can put your tinny in and head further afield.
Murramarang Beach
Murramarang Beach is a long open beach overlooking Brush Island and Cat & Kitten Bay, if you walk to the southern end of this beach you will find yourself in the Aboriginal Heritage Area where wombats reside in their coastal burrows. You will find great surfing and boogie boarding at any of these beaches, depending on the wind direction. All of the beaches I have described so far have been tucked away and protected from the southerly winds and will be calm where the next few beaches will provide more challenging surf, of course depending on the wind direction on the day.
Surfing At Sandmines Beach
One of the surfer's favourites in this area, Sandmines can be accessed via a carpark off Murramarang Road with a 250mtr walk to the beach. If you love coastal walking all of the beaches along this stretch of coast have tracks that allow access from one beach to the next with rocky headlands in between. Aboriginal middens can be found all along these coastal areas and stone cairns are scattered where the pebbles gather.
