COTTAGE DETAILS
Mimosa Eco Retreat is located on the Bawley Point Road which turns off the Princess Highway at Termeil, in the southern Shoalhaven. This pet friendly paradise is nestled on 25 acres, just a short drive to unspoilt beaches and lakes, state forests, national and marine parks. Four fully equipped cottages are set in a private and peaceful landscape.

Enjoy the beaches, lakes and parks, explore and dine, visit local attractions and have a camp fire under the stars. It’s bliss.

Each of our four cottages are privately nestled in the landscape to make you feel far from the madding crowd. Three overlook their own private billabong and one has a pond situated near the balcony. They are far enough away from each other for you to feel that you are the only people in a landscape of natural beauty with abundant birdlife, flora and fauna. Please let us know if and how many pets you are planning to bring (max2)

You will be able to enjoy the property, explore, contemplate in a quiet location, stroll around and view the native flora and fauna, and with over 30 native birds and four identified frog species, the property is a thriving little paradise. There are 9 acres of bush at the back of the property with a marked trail to allow you to explore.

We are pet friendly. Please let us know if and how many pets you are planning to bring (max2).
Fur family stay for $40 per pet per stay. Payment details will be provided after confirmed booking. Please don't leave your pet unattended at the cottage. Pets left alone can be fretful, noisy & destructive. Please don't allow them to chase the resident wildlife.
If you wish to go hiking or dine out without your pet, book your pet into Ulladulla Pet Motel. Office hours are 8.30-10am and 3-4.30 Monday to Friday. Open five days a week but not on weekends and closes in December just before Christmas until mid-late January. Not open on weekends. OR Europets in Batemans Bay FB: europetsbb Ell will come to you. Contact numbers can be easily found by doing a search or visiting FB pages. Bookings essential.

A separate entry drive leads to the cottages and with easy key safe access, arrival anytime is possible.
Whilst the cottages don't have guest WIFI, our retreat space/barn does, so if you need to access the internet just ask us for the Guest password. You will need to be close to the barn to access this service.

We are more than happy to help you at any time if you need it. Msg us or pop up to the house and visit our small celebration space 'the barn' and enjoy the gardens.

Bawley Point, Kioloa and Merry Beach are unspoilt environments that are peaceful and quiet most of the year. Peak holiday seasons see an influx of holiday makers. There are shops that will supply you with all your holiday needs including IGA, Chemist, Bottle shop, Fuel, Newsagent, Bakery, Real Estate, Hardware, Hairdresser & Takeaway. If you are arriving late, shop for supplies before you come. We are a little community and the local shops don't stay open late.

Best way to access everything is to have a car, we are rural. We are about 3klm to the beaches of Bawley Point. There are plenty of areas along the Bawley coast to bike, hike or walk as well as swim, surf and snorkel.

There is a washing machine and clothes dryer for guest use in the annex of the barn. There is a clothesline at the cottage to hang your washing to dry, or a clothes horse inside for drying in front of the fire in winter.

We loved our stay at Corroboree Cottage. Linda was a great host - answering all of our questions and ensuring we had all the information we needed about the stay.

We didn't realise there was an outd...oor bath! I'm not sure if I missed the photo, but it was a nice surprise. We were blessed with the best weather, so we got to spend a lot of time outside on the balcony and near the billabong. Was great being able to bring the dogs and they loved exploring the property.

The kitchen was also well equipped with everything you need - even to cook an Easter Sunday roast! Highly recommend.

Thanks Linda.

Amazing down to every last detail. The setting is so peaceful and serene it is unmatched. Kangaroos roam the property and so much wildlife around. Comfy beds and everything you could need in the cottage. Amazing and we will be back as soon as we can!!

I'm a Nature lover and Eco warrior and firmly believe the health of the population is directly reflected from the health of the land. Ive lived on property for many years and love to create beautiful spaces for people to feel at one with nature. Everything we do is organic, from little things like making all our cleaning products from natural ingredients and growing organic food, to supplying eco friendly products in our gorgeous little cottages. The energy here is rich, diverse and pure.

Fishing At Bawley Beach

Fishing is a favourite pastime, you will find plenty of fisherman casting a line from the beaches and rocks around this area. The boat ramp at Bawley beach and Kioloa means you can put your tinny in and head further afield.

Murramarang Beach

Murramarang Beach is a long open beach overlooking Brush Island and Cat & Kitten Bay, if you walk to the southern end of this beach you will find yourself in the Aboriginal Heritage Area where wombats reside in their coastal burrows. You will find great surfing and boogie boarding at any of these beaches, depending on the wind direction. All of the beaches I have described so far have been tucked away and protected from the southerly winds and will be calm where the next few beaches will provide more challenging surf, of course depending on the wind direction on the day.

Surfing At Sandmines Beach

One of the surfer's favourites in this area, Sandmines can be accessed via a carpark off Murramarang Road with a 250mtr walk to the beach. If you love coastal walking all of the beaches along this stretch of coast have tracks that allow access from one beach to the next with rocky headlands in between. Aboriginal middens can be found all along these coastal areas and stone cairns are scattered where the pebbles gather.
