Sounds great but unfortunately it was not. On reading previous reviews before booking it said the place was dirty and unkempt with a broken bbq. I asked if this was the case and was assured d that tho...se problems had been rectified.
Unfortunately they were not. The place had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was hair everywhere including the bed which most likely meant the linen was not changed. The bbq did not work and was filthy and rusted. The area around the place was fairly run down and there is a main road running directly across from the property so it is not as quiet and relaxing as advertised.
After explaining this to riparide they gave us a little refund but still had the cheek to charge us a cleaning fee even though we had to clean the property ourselves on arrival and also left it spotless on departure. Avoid

Beautiful spot in Flowerdale just down the road from the pub. Cosy, but with enough space to enjoy a few days away. Loved the electric boat. So much fun. Beautiful surroundings and great communication from host

The location was stunning, but the house was dirty when we arrived - toilet was not cleaned and filthy. Bbq was out of gas and hot plate didn't work, making it near impossible to cook. Such a shame. T...he owners gave us the cleaning fee back which was appreciated but unfortunately there were too many issues to recommend a stay.
