Creekside Tiny Home in the Rainforest

Tucked beside a creek in the rainforest at Foxground, our Escape Pod is a secluded off-grid tiny home made for switching off and slowing down.

Wake to the sounds of birds and the creek, spend your morning soaking in the outdoor bath, relax by the fire or simply enjoy being surrounded by rainforest and bushland. If you feel like exploring, Berry, Gerringong and Kiama are all within easy reach, with plenty of beaches, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby.

The tiny home has everything you need for a comfortable off-grid stay, including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, cooktop and microwave, bathroom, indoor fireplace during the cooler months, hot indoor and outdoor baths, outdoor shower, BBQ and firepit.

Linen and towels are supplied, along with tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and a selection of basic cooking essentials. Please bring your own groceries, including milk.

IMPORTANT – COMPOSTING TOILET
As part of our off-grid set-up, the tiny home has a composting toilet rather than a standard flushing toilet. It is easy to use and instructions are provided. When used correctly, there should be little to no smell, so we ask that guests follow the instructions provided.

NO WI-FI
There is no Wi-Fi at the tiny home, making it a great place to switch off and enjoy the surroundings. Mobile reception can vary due to the rainforest location, however you can often get full reception by taking a short walk from the tiny home.

PARKING & ACCESS
All vehicles must be left in the designated car park, approximately an 80-metre walk from the tiny home. A cart is provided to help carry your luggage and belongings.

Please do not drive across the grass or attempt to drive closer to the tiny home. The ground can be very soft and vehicles can easily become bogged, particularly after rain. The walk is across grass and along a short rainforest path, which can be wet or muddy after rain, so suitable footwear is recommended.

STAYING IN THE RAINFOREST
This is a true nature escape, so you’ll be sharing the surroundings with local wildlife. During the warmer months there can also be leeches, and information is provided on how to remove them safely.

FIREWOOD
Firewood is not provided, so if you plan on using the firepit, please pick up a bag on your way. Firewood can be purchased from local service stations.

The owners live at the opposite end of the property, so you’ll have plenty of privacy. If you need anything during your stay, help is only a couple of minutes away.
