The Church is an open plan studio-style building with queen bed, dining table and cosy lounge area.
The kitchenette includes a hotplate, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine (pods included) and bar fridge.

Hinterland gardens and outdoor attractions: Come and see a fragrant lavender farm, meandering hedge mazes and gardens with towering trees from the 1860s.

How do you like your adventure? Ride, slide, zip or wander through adventure gardens, beautiful landscapes, or stroll along boardwalks through wetlands.

Diving, fishing, swimming with dolphins: Try something you’ve never done before, like learning to scuba dive or swimming with dolphins. You can also go surfing, sailing or stand up paddle boarding, or just cast a lazy fishing line from a pier or book a fishing charter.

Wonderful food and wine: Just drive through our region, and the Peninsula's love affair with wine, fresh produce, seafood and bountiful food on the table is quickly revealed. Taste it, sip it, pick it, catch it, take it home with you.

A beautiful and quaint church stay, tastefully decorated with a luxurious feel throughout. The restoration has been done so respectfully, keeping the charm and character while adding all the comforts ...needed for a relaxing getaway.

The tranquil gardens were lovely to wander through, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though the accommodation is on the same property, once inside it felt completely private and peaceful.

A very comfortable stay with thoughtful amenities and a warm atmosphere — such a unique and memorable escape.

Perfect location for our weekend away! Could not recommend enough, the restored church is so beautiful and the hosts are some of the kindest people you will ever meet! We loved exploring along the coast and enjoying local produce from nearby cafes, 10/10 for every aspect of our stay 🫶🏼

Pier Walk Talk

Walked along the Mornington pier chatting to the fisherhumans. The sun was out, so it was a beautiful day to explore! You can follow the boardwalk all the way from in town to the end of the pier. I could smell the fish and chip shop too nearby which looked super busy although I had already had my lunch that day. - let me know if you've been there and tried it!

Scenic Route Via The Pier

Instead of following the road to the Mornington Pier, I took the walking track through the park and along the cliffs. There's a gorgeous view of the township as well as contract of colours in the cliffs. Several lookout points along here as well as access to the rockpools and sea.

Lookout Beach Time

There's parking at the lookout of Mills Beach Lookout and then I walked up the hill and followed the track to the beach. It was super quiet when I was there. I went for a cold plunge, its winter so it was really fresh! Did some yoga while taking in the sun. You can walk along the entire beach into Mornington/Town. The huts are super cute too here to check out.

Snorkeling And Swimming

Port Phillip Bay and Westernport Bay are stunning locations for swimming and snorkeling. Explore the crystal clear waters around the piers and take in the magical underwater sea creatures. During low tide it is also possible to snorkel the rock pools at the back beaches.

Bush And Coastal Walks

With nearly 100 walking tracks on the Peninsula means you’re spoilt for choice. Choose from easy coastal walks including beaches, piers, cliff tops, historic sites and villages for a lazy coffee. Head inland for beautiful bush walks, bird-filled wetlands, pretty creeks and ocean views.
